Anyone ever think about the fact that the Lakers have 3 people that have to deal with the responsibilities of 10 until they hire more people to the medical staff?
It's pretty much Vitti, Seto and Difrancesco doing everything. That's it. Least as far as I know.
So hopefully the Lakers have added more people to their medical staff to take some of the load off them and spread around a few responsibilities. |

I have no clue whether he's good or not, but his resume is pretty light. He was basically a glorified intern when he got the position with the Jam and was quickly promoted to the Lakers. Either he's really good or he's inexpensive.

alan aragon is a very well-respected guy in the field of nutrition. very anti-broscience and hard-facts type of guy. lakers should throw him a bone |

Can someone please tell me how a trainer/training staff prevents players from getting injured?
Other than that, I do agree, Vitti is quick to call any injury a sprain, and seems to have a "rub some dirt on it" mentality. |

I agree. Isn't Vitti responsible for herding the players and handling their luggage while going on the road as well?
For one of the more profitable sports teams in the world, the Lakers are awfully cheap.
And if they're not cheap, then they might be paying the wrong people too much money. |

Those were some tough years under the watch of Gary "Blue Goo/Voodoo" Vitti, that comment in the post by that girl who got misdiagnosed by one of the specialists wasn't very reassuring. |

In My Opinion.......We have entirely too much time on our hands.
Next, lets rate the dudes that wipe the sweat off the floor. I heard Portlands court wipers are the best in the league. |

I think the counter clockwise motion that the Laker's analytics team has instilled puts us near the top. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Rate him based on what? Did we screw up and hire this guy when there was a trainer named Okafor available?
This summer may never end... |

New Grassfed interview on a podcast. 1st half is nutrition talk, 2nd half strength training
Love this guy
Love how he's cutting out inflammation through their diet, of course knows his carb stuff and how it effects blood sugar and tiredness
Love the tidbit he dropped on how some young players come in soooo ill equipped strength wise - they look great on the court but can't do basic things in the weightroom, and they're bodies have crazy imbalances and weaknesses
Specific training for specific players , of course |

Didn't know that he was called up from the d-league, during the lockout the Lakers let a bunch of staff go and made new hires in Dec 2011. Looks like he joined the Lakers Dec 6, 2011 which coincided with the official start of that legendary Mike Brown errora a few weeks later. |
Yeah, I'd have to give him a D-. We've had nothing but back luck injury-wise since the decision was made to fire all our long-time staff. It's probably just karma though as apposed to it being the current trainers fault. You just don't do people like that, and it's NEVER been the Laker way! |

Nutty? Because he wants to retrain players how to feed their bodies....what to eat and what to avoid? It's not nutty....it is important. |
Well technically, it is nutty, and buttery, and meaty. |
