Bye Kelly.

You can ride the pine somewhere else.

Now Upshaw just needs to get his ish in gear and Sacre will be gone too.

Bye.

What makes me fear the most about this signing is that his best days are behind him. He was great for Brazil for many years (some of you may have seen him playing against USA) but recently his game took a hit. 4 years ago I would say it was a good gamble but nowadays I don't see it, but I might be wrong Dellavedova didn't look like he would contribute as well.

A fellow Brazilian here... his best days are gone, but I believe as a backup, playing 15-20 MPG he can be useful and give more attacking options. My major concern is his defense, as he lacks lateral speed.

His last season wasn't the best and he lost minutes to a Czech guy I don't remember the name. But, one year ago, he was the man in Barcelona's title, especially in the playoffs.

Satoransky. He was drafted three years ago at the start of 2nd round by WAS.

If Upshaw couldn't get his ish in gear for a few weeks with his livelihood on the line, I don't see him buying into the larger, more abstract sacrifices required in basketball.

Well, I'm Brazilian and I know him a little better. He's a very energetic player, a regular starter in Brazilian team for the past 10 years, forming the backcourt with Leandro Barbosa.

He's a great team player, although not the most talented or athletic player around. Decent shooter (though he doesn't take many shots), certainly a clutch guy, good pass, excellent P&R, but not a good defender. Don't expect him to fill the stat sheets. His last season wasn't great, but the previous one was fantastic. I wouldn't be worried for the fact he's 32.

There's always a lot of uncertainty about how players adapt in NBA after many years in European basketball, but I believe he's a bet worth taking. I hope he can be a decent backup PG.

Eis que do nada surgem vĂ¡rios brasileiros por aqui Bora participar mais!

I'm brazilian too, and they've already said it all about Huertas.

I wonder how much of this signing has to do with the hope he can mentor Russell.

I would have liked Nash to take on that role

I don't think it is for mentoring (although anything in that regard is a bonus) so much as it is to make sure Russell doesn't get overloaded with minutes until he's ready.

24.....There are too many point guards on this team. Russel, Clarkson, Williams, and now Huertas?

Do you think there might be a trade somewhere in the future?

I am a Jordan Clarkson fan, but I think Deangelo Russell needs the ball in his hands to take advantage of his skills.

I'm not a fan of this if it means we lose Jabari Brown or Tarik Black.

Sacre is beyond expendable and Kelly is gonna have trouble getting minutes behind all the other forwards, so even though they have guaranteed contracts, I hope it's one or both of them we end up cutting.

Williams isn't pure PG, more of n undersized 2. The idea would be to have him and Clarkson split the minutes at 2, while Clarkson and a third PG (Heurtas in this case) split the minutes behind Russell.

Not if Upsahw is not signed and there are zero options in free agency so we are most likely keeping Sacre. I can see Kelly traded if Young is packaged.

Even if Upshaw and Jeremy Tyler are on the training camp squad? Maybe they cut Sacre, but I like the idea of having one young, athletic big.

Forget Jeremy Tyler, but Upshaw is intriguing as a potential defensive specialist. I am a big Black gujy though, very very big. I like his motor around the basket, he is productive in his minutes on the floor.

A veteran (Internationally) point guard and a true point guard at that. I like this signing. It will give D'Lo someone to learn from.

Sort of reminds me of Kendall Marshall. The good thing is that he knows his role coming in is to run the team smoothly off the bench. The bad thing is that supposedly he has a problem with getting caught on screens and the team's defensive efficiency dropped off when he was on the floor.

Something interesting to me is that the Lakers have a good scout in Spain and have undoubtedly been watching Barcelona. But Hezonja didn't seem to have been on their radar at all. He seems like the kind of player that they would take a hard look at.

Right now it seems Marcelo is just another camp invite, but he could make the team.

Let's see how camp goes...
