It's blasphemy to disagree with Vin, but I have to on Turner's defense. It's not very good. Just in the past week or 2, I feel like he's not making a play every game that an average third baseman makes. |

Kersh just passed a career high for Ks in a season with 249. 300 is a possibility. |

Kersh pc 108. I would have pinch hit RH batter van slyke for Kershaw and let Kenley close it out. Hopefully he has enough left in the tank. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I honestly thought he struck out Duffy, and that the ump squeezed him. |

What the hell is up with that Marlins fan behind home plate? So lame.

132 pitches - Short of a playoff game or no hitter/perfect game, this can't happen again. We need a bullpen. |

I think they're planning on giving Bolsinger a start in San Diego. It will give Kershaw an extra day of rest. I would agree on pitch count if Kenley was available but apparently he wasn't because Johnson was the guy warming up. |

Swept the Gnats and almost the Cubs (Kike should've been awarded a base hit). Awesome. |

Lets just hope this sweep matters, as I remember last year the Dodgers dominated the Giants in the regular season, but then couldn't make it past St. Louis, while the Giants won the entire damn thing. |

I assume Steiner will take over TV duties and Monday/Kennedy will be on radio. I also really like Nomah and Bulldog doing commentary. |
the road crew is great (i think its Nomar, Orel, and...i forgot the other guy's name). I think you're spot-on about the Lakers too - dog (bleep) announcing since Chick left and we didn't even secure Spero |
Dodgers have more than ample time to prepare for the day Vin is no longer calling the games, as he's been a part time announcer for a while....compared to Chick, whom was traveling to all the games. |

We're going to need more than 2 runs on games Greinke and Kershaw don't pitch. If Grandal is simply in a slump then he should play to get out of it, but if the shoulder issues are a factor at all in his play, then he should sit until it's 100%. AJ has been pretty good recently. Barnes has been called up too. I'm pretty high on his future. If he can't stick as a number 1 catcher, his position versatility makes him a valuable bench piece. |

Havent been around for a long while, but you know it probably threw his swing off a bit. hopefully he can turn it around before the play off start.
Still worried about the pen, but they have been pitching great the last few weeks. So we will see.
What sucks is Puig was showing flashes of old puig before the hamstring. Dude was hitting the ball hard and was just not striking out much. Sucks he got injured. He was locked in. |

Love the sweep, but our bullpen is still a serious problem for the playoffs. |

I'd go back in this thread to earlier in the season when everyone was freaking about about Kersh, when I said to just hang on -- his HR/FB% and BABIP were unsustainably high and he'd be back to CY form in no time, but everyone can see it now. Dude should win another one. I know Greinke has the ERA but that's it. Kersh is amazing. You'll be telling your grandkids about these games.

Clayton Kershaw, since the All-Star Game rosters were announced: 10 starts, 80 IP, 49 H, 7 BB, 104 K, 0.90 ERA. The best then, the best now. |
