As a guy who HATES baseball, I have to admit, this Dodger team has captivated some of my attention. I guess I'm just enthralled by how they have been able to mesh veteran talent with raw talent so well. That is something that is rare in sports. I was also interested in how the new GM would fare, and as an outsider looking in, I'd have to say he's made some solid moves. And now they have an all-time great pitcher in the twilight of his career and a 13 (?) game winning streak to top it off.
I don't know if I'm just going through Lakers withdrawals and I'm entrenched in a state of delirium or if I'm actually starting to enjoy watching a little baseball. |

The Dodgers are currently tied for first place with SD after their loss. Tonight is a chance to move into first place alone. Go Dodgers!

Winning the World Series would blow my mind. But let's be realistic. They'd have to beat either the Yankees, Red Sox, Tigers, or White Sox. That's a tall order.

At BEST Dodgers are the 3rd best team in the NL but no way they beat the top 3 or 4 AL teams should they meet in the WS.
Nice gag job tonight by Lugo, he reminds me of the Lakers in game 7 vs. Suns.

| The Dodgers could easily win the World series this year. Their pitching in a short series with Penny, Lowe and Madux is as good as anyone in baseball. |
