And it always starts Week 5, which always happens to be my first home game of the season. I think I'm going to stop going as I'm apparently cursed or something. |
The guys on ABC were speculating it has more to do with school starting... |
Possibly, though that's a pretty lame excuse. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

It is unreal. They return almost everyone from the team the shred Bama and Oregon, and now they can't complete a pass to a wide open WR on just about every play. |
It's not surprising. Jones is not a good QB. The more he plays, the more tape there is on him. He shouldnt have gone back to school. At this point, he's a second day pick or an UFA. |
He read the field a lot better last year. He would check down to his 2nd and 3rd option consistently. Now he is locked on from the beginning on who he throwing to. |

USC got a bye week and still lost.....Kessler should've just left for the draft....I bet he's regretting that decision.
Not only is a national championship not in the picture, they are probably out of the running for the Rose Bowl with less than half of the season played. |

Charlie Strong with a statement victory for Texas in a rivalry game. Probably enough to save his job for now. |

Chubb with a nasty injury.
They won't lose much with Sony Michel. Like I said before, Sony would start on any other team besides LSU. |

Wouldn't be surprised if they slowly ushered Sark toward the exit...........I'm sure they would've kept him on if they were winning, but now their losing and his substance abuse problems are probably gonna be used to give him the pink slip.
I think its pretty obvious USC needs to move on from the Pete Caroll era....he was the reason they had a good program, hiring his assistants haven't brought the same type of success. |

Hope ND doesn't take USC easy this Saturday because of this coaching issue. |

Guess Sark leaving the program is just a formality if you read the allegations. A program is only as strong as its head coach, and from what I've read Sark's behavior doesn't sound like one of a leader and more like one of a frat boy. |

It is ridiculous that they kept this guy on after solute to Troy. Tons of donors were voicing their displeasure with this guy and wanted him gone in August. It will all be okay they were told. What if he wins the national championship? Would you still want him out, they would ask. Come to find out the guy was showing up to games under the influence, are you freaking kidding me!? And showing up to practices either under the influence or showing visible signs of withdrawal. Give me a freaking break. Oh don't worry, we had him do some up-downs after practice, its all good!

SC can brag all they want about how they get a better recruiting class (per scholarship) during the off-season, but when one teams coach is Jim Mora, a guy who has coached in an NFL super bowl, and the others teams coach is Steve Sarkisian, a guy who has probably never stayed sober enough to watch an entire NFL super-bowl game, you can have all the 5 star recruits in the world, it won't matter if they aren't coached up right. All the talk this season about how aggressive the defense is going to be, and how they are going to be so fresh because of rapid substitutions, blah blah blah. They gave up 41 points to freaking Stanford. How long will Haden stick his neck out for this idiot before their necks are tied together in the guillotine? |
I tried to warn him.
You are the AD, a coach shows up drunk to a function, and your idea of punishment is making him do up downs. Then he a few weeks later is showing up drunk to games and practices? Some might call this questionable leadership |

Doubt he'll get another head coaching position in college. Its one thing to be a bad coach, another thing is showing up at your job drunk. |

He will check into rehab and end up in a high profile asst job is my guess. Maybe down in the SEC Kiffin style.
Strategically, he is a terrible coach. I could point to 10 or more obvious issues of game/clock mismanagement in the last two years, he has no clue at all and was a huge disappointment even before he started rolling liquored up at noon to his job. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I have no doubt he'll be able to find work as an assistant....Its the head coaching job that will be hard for a major D1 program to justify hiring somebody who represents a major university and has a substance abuse problem. Its not like he has an exceptional coaching record that a major university will fall head over heels for him and hire him. I think his success as an assistant under Pete Caroll and the glory years at USC played a major role in him getting that job.... |
