-intellectually interesting
-an inspiring core mission
-interesting colleagues
-no idiotic or authoritarian people on top of me
-small number of people on top of me, preferably no more than the number of people on the board
-significant equity
-lack of bureaucracy
-located in a desirable city for me, such as NYC, LA, bay area, Shanghai, Seoul, Beijing, Hong Kong, etc.
Yeah. Sorry about that. Things kinda got outta hand and escalated quickly. At least more quickly than I thought they would. We'll be kinder next time. Don't worry. I ditched the hard drive with the tape into the ocean off the Santa Monica pier.

-Desirable location (fewer vacation expenses)
-My supervisor/boss works at a different site. Free of micromanagement
-Work at a job site where nobody has authority over you. They can complain if there's a problem but they can't tell you what to do
-My duties are my duties. When I collaborate with co-workers, we all have defined responsibilities. Everyone knows who to praise or who to blame
-Inexpensive or reimbursed commute
-Physical activity. Nothing too strenuous, but you aren't required to plop your butt in a seat for 8 hours
-Overtime pay
-A job that's so interesting and fulfilling that you don't mind having to work overtime
-The expected health, education, retirement bennies
I'm describing a job I used to work at until I was laid off (a long time ago, I'm currently employed). I miss it. _________________ -Avenue of the Champions- -RIP Dr Buss- #824

There were roofies involved. Your lack of remembrance isn't surprising.

For me, it is ALL of them, plus every other Friday off, 3-week PTO time, great bosses, low pressure and moving into a brand new facility next month! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.”
