This may be the first time in my life as a sports fan where the majority of the players on the team I root for are younger than me.

Looking at our roster.
We don't have a great transition finisher.
It's tough deciding who will be our best fast break scorer this year on the roster. Nobody really stands out.

what do you mean by transition finisher? like dunking or open layups on fast breaks? those are very easy skills, not lacking in really any nba players. if this is what you mean, i'm not at all concerned about it. in other words, i'm not worried about anyone on the team missing fast break layups or dunks, really.

What? Randle and Clarkson are great transition finishers. Randle showed it in one of the practice video and Clarkson showed it last year.

In terms of finishing at the rim. Nance Jr might be our best transition athlete.
But Clarkson and Randle can definitely carve the defense up off the dribble

i just don't like the zone in the nba. it muddles everything up, ruins the beauty of the sport. leave the zone for college.

the zone makes nba games seem more spazzy.

We have 13 "Official" threads in the Lounge. Way too many for my taste. More new threads, please.

Can't wait to see Huertas back. It's weird to say that about a 30+ year old rookie but I think his experience will add a lot of stability to the bench.

I hate to say it... but Randle is a Bust!... He just doesn't understand the Pro game. He's trying to be Lebron without Lebron skills.

For your efforts we get six "Official" threads at the top of the queue, plus a 'Why is everyone kissing their elbow-pit?' thread.

(bleep) Baxter Holmes.
Snuff piece after snuff piece on Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.
I'm okay with having an objective view when being a sports team reporter.
But he takes pleasure in exaggerating our organization's shortcomings.

Is this standard protocol?
Does ESPN Dallas have a beat writer who writes articles about the hopelessness of their franchise?
I guess it's one way to get clicks on the website.

This is most talent the Lakers have had since 2012-2013 season but this team is much younger with Randle, Clarkson, Russell being future cornerstones of this franchise.

https://vine.co/v/eEAuhOK0UwF this PnR drive by Anthony Brown was pretty nice. heady strip by the guard out of nowhere, not Browns fault. Brown navigated a lane for himself and a potential layup quite nicely.

I was really tempted to make a thread about this. But this thread will do.
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/writer/ken-berger/25203846/warriors-wearable-weapon-devices-to-monitor-players-while-on-the-court
http://bsndenver.com/denver-nuggets-emmanuel-mudiay-danilo-gallinari-will-not-play-tonight-vs-phoenix-suns/

Do our players wear this Catapult "wearable" technology?
I've heard alot of complaints about Byron's conditioning regimen. But all that would be moot if we had our players and coaches wearing and using this tech.

Now I'm seeing young prospects from other teams (who could use playing time based on traditional thinking) benefiting from it as well. If we have injuries to our young core this year, and we're not using this tech. It's an indictment on our FO.

He also moves his head too much when talking.

Kobe has spoiled Laker fans the last two decades.
He's raised the bar so high, every guard we have on the roster will seem underwhelming for the next couple years.
It's subconscious. But it's why Laker fans hate Swaggy's inconsistency on both ends of the court, Clarkson's defense, and DLO's "lack" of athleticism his rookie year.
We've been spoiled by a living legend. Fans of teams who never had the 2nd best SG of all time, probably aren't as picky when it comes to their young backcourts.
