He was never same after the Lakers traded him. Yeah he had his problem before then, but I think him leaving the Lakers broke his heart. He couldn't recover from it.

I'd also like to say (bleep) Khloe and (bleep) the whole Kardashian family for taking advantage of a nice guy like Odom and using him for their media agenda and then dumping him out when times got tough.
I remember after we beat the magic in the finals, Artest just signed and had a big bash in LA and reports surfaced that LO was getting close to that chick. I thought oh no this is def bad news.

this. i blame mitch and our management for how they handled gasol and odom. it's just so unfair and it has bitten us really hard.
but it's honestly all because of the kardashians ultimately. eff this (bleep)

This multiplied by 100000000000000000000
Keeping up with the KAR-TRASHIANS
I'm no fan of the Kardashians. But Lamar wanted that life. He sought them out. You don't just fall into a family whose living is cameras following them around. A big reason why Lamar is where he is is because too many people (because he's such a nice guy) want to blame other people for his shortcomings and his poor decisions. Times got tough for Lamar...yes. The man got hooked on crack. How many of y'all would stay with a crackhead? Lamar has been surrounded by questionable people his whole life. His closest and lifelong friend was a bloodsucking cokehead (God rest his soul). His daddy was largely absent, lifetime heroin addict, in and out of prison. But even with all he's lost he still had 2 kids who need their dad. He couldn't get it together for them. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe.

You guys do know that we won in 2010 while he was with Khloe, he won gold in the Worlds while he was with Khloe, and he won sixth man while he was with Khloe.
He gave a lot of credit to her. Ultimately their breakup really hit him hard, which was evident. Also the trade from LA, and the constant deaths around him broke him. All this probably was too much to take for one person and he fell into certain destructive vices.
Hopefully he pulls through. It's crazy because just a few weeks ago I thought of Lamar randomly and the first thing that popped into my head was I wouldn't be surprised if this sort of news came out recently .
It's heartbreaking to hear that someone who used to be the most popular player on the team and one of our glue guys has had such a downward spiral in just a matter of a few years. I'm really pulling for the guy to get his life back together and finds the motivation he needs to keep on going. Best wishes to Lamar as he is a part of the Laker family.

They couldn't have possibly predicted the veto.
Yeah, blaming the Lakers for any of what has happened with Lamar is just silly.
