Even though it's not your shooting hand, You might just want to have an X-ray just to make sure you haven't broken your metacarpal or a slight fracture in your thumb.
You make think it's not a big deal just to get an X-ray for your thumb, but once I was told I'd sprained my wrist, went to the hospital 3 weeks later and said that I had three fractures.
It's just best to get it healed rather than having a greater chance of reinjuring it again. _________________ That was Noiceeeee |

I went in for a thumb srpain about 2 months ago. I freaked out because it was still hurting after a month. Doctor said it was torn ligaments that would heal with time. He said, it would take LONGER for me to heal since im not getting any younger.
I think it took a good 3 + months for it to really heal without any discomfort. It was painful when I opened a door..(the twisting motions) |

They have a special protection for it when you play ball. I used to have to wear one because i would dislocate it all the time...although its not that comfortable.
I got mine at Big 5 _________________ Panthas |

I have some pills that will make your thumb feel better. One question though. Do you need the thumb? _________________ Where's Cokie the Clown when you need him? |
