if we end up top 3 we're going ingram or skal and neither one would be a bad choice/fit for our squad. if we go ingram, re-sign hibbert. if we go skal, max out one of the available second tier 3s
^ I can see that. Ingram will be the floor spacer we need with star shot maker potential.
Skal could be that dynamic roll man for Russell , could be a great PnR defender, jumper's on the verge, developing handle even i think.
Simmons not being able to shoot makes him a really bad fit with our core 3

i can't help but get sucked into cbb/draft/prospect talk every season cause it's too fun, but i'm trying to not get attached to any players from this crop. the chance that the lakers won't have their pick is too high, there is zero mathematical guarantee. i do like simmons/ingram/skal though. brown is whtever, and rabb is interesting.
simmons seems too good to be true, he must have some sort of major flaw(aside from the shooting)
skal has meh measurements, especially hand size but he has great instincts and feel, as much as i hate cliche scouting terms like that it's true with him
ingram is a stick figure but great overall package.
marvin bagley lookin like the next GOAT tho
hehe "reach" is standing reach, arms above head
anyway I'm scared to get attached to this crop too, can't help myself though, i love developing young players, hope we get another. rooting for the tank eff it.

Jaylen Brown looking very impressive in the Cal scrimmage. Slicing through the D, dunking on guys..

I do like Jaylen more than Skal or Ingram so far. I really need to see Ingram's development throughout the season. The physical tools are there. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

If you wound up top 3 and Skal was the on that was left, and Brown was taken. Then getting Ingram, OR trying to trade the pick to Sacramento for Willie Cauley-Stein would probably be the smart choice.
The 6-foot-10 power forward previously tore his left ACL, MCL and meniscus but had sufficiently recovered from the injury to become the top recruit in 2016.

I know but he's expected to recover fine for the start of next season. He's sitting out this years hs season
Unless you are bringing that up to say that he's injury prone? I say it's fine get these acls and mcls all replaced now before you're a laker
College basketball can't start soon enough so we can get a look at some of these guys.
for real. we're def in the hunt to keep our pick this year
Jaylen Brown's Cal Bears play tomorrow on Pac12BayArea network at 7pm , ch.1760 on ATT
I'll be checking the game out, but I dread getting invested in these prospects only to lose our pick.
On the other hand I dread the monotonous depression of going through these losses with no silver lining! I'll take hope, and one blow of crushing defeat at the end of the season/lotto night
