This team is actually playing the way he coached that 2004 team. No defense (they were last in the league and supposedly didn't really practice it), and a green light from three regardless of whether you can shoot it efficiently or not, or could get good looks.

yeah, I remember Kobe played sf that season with odom playing point sf sg whatever and Chucky Atkins as shooting pg. Kobe was pretty awesome in that role.

If the Lakers can trade Russell, they should do it in a heartbeat. I do not see any speed, no hops, average dribbling skills. If you can develop him into an all star, then you can develop any journeyman player into a all-star.

He is a poor mans' Kendal Marshall.

Decided to have my first father son watching the Lakers on a TV with my 4 month old son. Well apparently the Lakers are so bad it only took a 4 month old no more than 5 minutes that he rather be sleeping than watch these guys

What happened to Black, and why isn't he getting any minutes? I'm sure he would be better as a backup center than Bass.

The only players I think that are certain to be in next season's roster are Russell, Randle, Clarkson (if he signs a new contract), Brown and Nance Jr. I think Hibbert could resign. Maybe Black but's it.

Lakers are only 4 games out for a playoff spot in the loss column. Trying to be jokingly optimistic. Lol

PostPosted: Thu Nov 26, 2015 1:42 pm    Post subject: Would like to watch, can I come early and watch up close?

We are not from the area, and would like to watch our first Lakers game in the Staples center. I'm wondering if we can go down up close by the court even if we have nosebleed seats, if we come early during warm ups. We would really love to see the players up close during the warm up. How early is early?

TIA

A big Lakers fan
sad that they are bad
this season will be hard to take
hard to watch bad ball

Next year a shake up
will sure be a must
strike it big with free agents
and pray for some luck

I remember way back when when my daughter was an infant being home with her (family leave) and sitting on the couch watching the dodgers play the cardinals in the playoffs. She fell asleep right away and I watched the entire game with her sleeping on my lap. I'll never forget that. That was really cool.

I remember watching a Cardinal game with my sleeping son on my lap and Big Mac was going for breaking Maris' record. When he hit the record-breaking homer I yelled so loud that I woke him up.

Who is the best two way player on our team?
I feel like we have players who can either play offense or defense.
But I can't think of anyone who is a + on both ends of the court when playing .500 competition.

Wow. Maybe you're right.
I can't make a case for anybody really. So I don't disagree.

If our pick wasn't top 3 protected, I would hate Scott more than most of LG. And I would even criticize Mamba as well.
But I can't say things like "win 10 for the best chance at Ben", and then complain about the results. It's disingenuous to say, I want us to lose most games and then complain about how we're losing.
I'm taking it easy on the FO too because of the same reasoning.
The House that Kobe Built is rundown and rotting. Best thing to do at this point is burn the house to the ground and build a new one.

A "new house" IMO, is combining Simmons/Ingram and a new coach with our young core. And losing as many games as possible this season gives us the best chance of accomplishing that.
Once we start improving from within the top FAs will come. Lakers are a great team to play for when we're good. But it's a nightmare to play for when the team sucks and everyone is comparing you to the Kobe era.

You can't get into the lower bowl without seats in the lower bowl.
