Yep hose two r the cornerstone of this franchise for years to come. I hope the front office realizes this as well, hire a new coach this summer and trade Clarkson for a true 3-D starting SF |

I'm really happy they're developing that oncourt chemistry. | Everyone hopes that DLO/Randle = Kobe/Pau and DLO/Clarkson = Curry/Thompson
Limiting how DLO often plays like JLin (talented baller playing timidly) early last season while transforming into how JLin was starting to play at the end of the season - playing with confidence having the ability to orchestrate/lead the team on the court.
DLO's (like Porzingus) problem is that he has NBA skills in a high school body. Even supremely talented PGs (i.e. John Wall and Tony Parker) were exposed/prodded/tested/taught many things to be excellent players |

Clarkson and DLO are learning that they must try their best to stay in front of their opposing numbers - despite the many uber talented guards in the Western Conference |

Right now it is Nance who is showing the most, Randle and Russell are not putting up the necessary starter type numbers. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Randle and Russell didn't workout for the most time. Randle can't shoot, so he can't do anything to spread the floor, and he doesn't screen a lot and doesn't run off-ball often.
So before the lakers change the coach and install the new system, I don't think these two will workout. |

Ignoring the skills they personally need to add to their games this team isn't executing well enough to get easy shots. It really looks like nobody understands what they are supposed to do for the most part. |

Yep. This looks like a horribly coached team on both ends of the court. Players just look lost, and going off of former players words, they are loss under Scott. Not what you want with young guys _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Randle first year. They said the same things about Griffin.
Russell first year. They said worse about Harden. Enjoy the ride and root for your Lakers. You guys are so negative. |

DLO, Clarkson, Randle and Nance are learning that the ability to adjust, basketball IQ and mental toughness are requirements to be consistency successful in the NBA.
Some might say that changing a system that helped CP3/JKidd be successful might compensate for their deficiencies or not. The issues are execution, adjustments and focused energy
The inconsistencies/ineffectiveness of Lou Williams, Swaggy and Bass are a greater concern.
The Black Mamba has the opportunity to display hoe basketball IQ can compensate for one's current skills to maintain a high level of effectiveness - or not (ala the Washington Wizard version of Michael Jordan) |
