Hornacek should be in consideration any time we look for a head coach next time. He did a really good job the first few years in PHX before they decided they wanted to trade some key guys and make massive changes that have left them really hurt chemistry wise. |

I wonder if he'd take a 32 game contract? |

Report: Suns name Earl Watson as interim head coach
The Phoenix Suns promoted assistant coach Earl Watson to interim head coach in the wake of Monday morning's dismissal of Jeff Hornacek, according to Yahoo's Marc Spears.
Watson joined the Suns as an assistant last July after spending one year as an assistant for the San Antonio Spurs' D-League affiliate. The former 13-year NBA veteran served as a development coach for the Suns.
Phoenix also interviewed assistants Corey Gaines and Nate Bjorkgren before deciding on Watson. The team was said to be interested in club legend Steve Nash, too, but he apparently turned down those overtures in favor of his current position as an assistant with the Golden State Warriors.
A journeyman who played for NBA six teams, Watson carried a reputation as a well-respected veteran and was often spoken about as a future head coaching candidate. |

He's the fourth to go this season. Who's next, Byron? _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

C'mon you guys know you are stuck with Byron for the rest of the season just to spite y'all...
But my next guess is Fisher. |

Congratulations to Earl on getting some burn as HC. Hopefully he'll have a shot at a permanent gig sometime soon.
Ha! Earl just hired Rich Paul from Lebron's Klutch Sports Group as his agent. Kid just went from less than a season as an assistant coach to the big time in two months.

I wonder how old we'll feel if there's some new coaching news about Marcus Banks. |
