Just for the sake of originality, can anybody name something Scott did well last night in our win?
I love an echo chamber as much as the next guy. But I don't believe any person is completely one dimensional (completely good or completely bad).

He played Tarik Black. That's about it.
He did a fantastic job in the way he called DLO's name to have him come off off the bench? I dunno, bar is so low. |

Played Bass at PF & finally played Tarik Black.
Ran a lot of Horns with both of them on the floor, and it was very effective. |

Lol. |
I'm just enjoying tonight, but this is the truth. |
That's the best you can do when your system is ISOcentric and your defensive schemes are equally as bad |
And I wouldn't say that none of the kids played badly, their defense was horrible. Decent defense and they win by 20. |
I don't think their energy on defense was horrible. That's what I was alluding to in my post --- Byron consistently puts his teams in positions to fail defensively with his archaic schemes and rotations (Lou Will guarding Wiggins with single coverage ), which is why it was a close game. |

Does anyone have the minutes played per quarter breakdown of the players? Didn't Byron play Tarik the whole second quarter? I believe he tweaked his ankle at one point. |

Thanks for the effort.
We can all go back to crapping on him now. Just wanted to see what people would come up with. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Guess Bass is better utilized at PF.
Who would have guessed....besides every coach he's had before Scott. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

I thought his substitutions in the 4th, bringing in Kobe and Randle, was well timed and helped get the win. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Lol for real. Only took byron half a season to figure out what every coach in Bass's career already had. |

He actually out-coached Sam Mitchell that fourth quarter.
I remember watching Minnesota run P&R with Lavine as the ball handler (35% 3PT%) while Rubio and Wiggins spotted up on the wings (both below 30% 3PT shooters). That made me laugh. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

I couldn't believe we won that game giving up 57.5% to them and being out rebounded. Making a lot of shots we normally miss helped as well as low turn overs.
Byron still sucks!
Although at least he played Black some. |

Is Lou/JC quite possibly the worst defensive backcourt in the NBA? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

And you add Kobe to that equation on defense & you quickly realize why we have been playing the worst badketball in the NBA _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' I think we finally found the back court of the future in Kobe/Lou. |

Alvin Gentry gave Byron a run for his money tonight. Pelicans' clock management at the end was awful. |

Mitchell, gentry and Scott all seem like they would fail that exam they give to get into the military. They are that bad. |

speaking of James Worthy and the the Showtime Cartel:
Sactown Royalty: “I think i could come off this set and do a much better coaching job right now.” – @TheBobbyJackson NOT holding back on George Karl

Sacramento has went through like 3 coaches. I think their problem is personnel and Management. |
