Whoever those people are need to get the (bleep) out.
Kobe or not Kobe this guy can't coach. It's painfully obvious to anyone with a brain and eyes to see.
I mean this people must not be watching the games because I don't see how anyone who is can think Byron deserves another shot. |
Comments like that from John Ireland make me think all our franchise's problems won't be fixed when Scott and Kobe are gone. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Not many in bold. If any team wanted him, they would have signed him last offseason.
Walton however, will be a hot commodity.
Not just him though, there are plenty of fresh face coaches to choose from this offseason. DONT WASTE IT BY KEEPING THE WORST COACH IN NBA HISTORY ABOARD! _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

If this is true, the Lakers are done as a winning franchise. |

don't you guys want to see Russell next season, bringing the ball up and passing it to our Center, who will be standing beyond the free throw line with his back turned to the basket, then holding the ball for 5 entire seconds as everybody runs in circles around him, only to pass the ball back to Russell at the top of the key with 9 seconds left on the shot clock?
Nobody runs the "Smashmouth" offense as well as us, nobody! They know it's com'in... you just gotta man up and make it work anyway... |

You can't MAN UP if your system creates easy shots! You have to earn your points. |

There has to be a reason why they do that right? wasting 10 seconds only to get the ball back to the PG. What is happening there? players setting picks?and defenders getting distracted with the hand offs from PG to center to PG?
This madness has to have some reason. |

They're doing what everyone else is doing. Pointing out the obvious issues while being ignored. |

I have a feeling they're just imitating without knowing why or what they're doing with analytics, after being pressured due to getting embarrassed by the complete failure of the Aldridge meeting. _________________ "There's only 2 dudes better than me, and I'm BOTH OF THEM." |

I think it's been proven - it doesn't matter what is said either directly to or about Byron in the press, NOTHING is going to change. Don McLean just pointed out how stupid our offense is, we know Byron heard it, and nothing changed.
The guard will bring the ball up and pass it to someone standing around the 3 point line, seconds will go by as the guy with the ball stands there as there is nobody to pass to, the guy with the ball then gives it back to one of the guards who is standing around the 3 point line.
This will never change. Never. Over and over and over again. |

Does it shock anyone that a member of the FO who is all in with the Showtime cartel would want to give Byron another chance? Not me. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

It's been 3 years of crap.
Once Kobe's gone, Lakers will have quite an interesting gaping hole. Which is why I doubt they will punt the cap space next year entirely or go with a team of role players.
They know that a huge gaping hole once filled by the great Kobe is about to come, and all the cockroaches and mold that has been growing underneath it will now be exposed if they don't right this ship immediately.
It starts with firing Byron the second the season is over. Actually, after he gets us a top 3 pick. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Random, but one of the things that kills me during broadcasts these past two seasons is when the commentator says x Laker lost his starting job to x, as if he were outplayed.
No accounting for Byron not having any idea what he's doing and going to his 'bench two players after twenty games' stunt. |

The players are "buying in" per Worthy and the Cartel.
It's quite obvious that they have bought in...to STUPIDITY! _________________ Do you believe it now, Trinity? - Morpheous |

I just want to see Randle/JC/Dlo on the floor together for at least 24 minutes a game after the break _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.'
