Do you spray it on your shirt? Collar? Neck? Wrists? Arm pits?

Do you prefer dabbing it? Cotton ball? Q-tip?

How many sprays?

On neck. half spray (I don't press all the way down), then use finger to dab that spray on both sides.

Ive ruined shirts in the past when spray hit the collar. Same goes for deodorant... It can stain your shirt so I wear vnecks.

Sometimes I just use body spray. Basically spray an X formation across my chest. No cologne on neck after that

My thought is, you should smell good from close proximity.and not from afar.

1-2 sprays to the chest area. Sometimes under the shirt, sometimes over, just depends on the fragrance.

GQ says you should spray on your wrists only, but most women seem to react to it being on the neck or face.

There is no right or wrong place to spray cologne, it's just a matter of personal preference.

Well the purpose of wearing cologne is for the user to give off a positive smell to others around him. It's intended for them, not the wearer. So, it's not your personal preference really.

What do you do when the bottle doesn't have a spray nozzle?

That's when you tear open the packets of free samples you got from Dillards and roll on the floor over them.

Put some on my index finger and dab the neck, wrist and knee areas.

I put aftershave on my hair so I guess I'll do the same with cologne but with one spray.

Doesn't that give you dandruff?

Put it on your neck, behind your ears. This is a classic pulse point - that area will re-heat, and you will give off wafts of the cologne a little later on, as it starts to wear out. I also do the forearms and top of the wrist.

Make sure you have a good cologne, and don't overapply.

Actually that's incorrect. There are some people that wear cologne/fragrances for to impress other people, but there is an even bigger group of people who wear different fragrances for their own personal enjoyment. Once you get away from the mainstream and designer fluff, their is a big big world of fragrance out there. I personally wear cologne for myself to enjoy throughout the day. I enjoy smelling good.

I have six colognes. I buy the complete set. Cologne, deodorant, after shave and body wash.

Curve
Acqua Du Gio
Polo
Cool Water
Drakkar Noir
Aramis

I think if the smell of your cologne gets there before you do, it's to loud.
