Stephen A. Smith spouted off about what he has been hearing surrounding Kyrie Irving in Cleveland — and it's not good for Cavs fans.

Quote:
"Dating back to last year, I've been told that Kyrie Irving ain't too happy being in Cleveland," Smith stated on First Take this morning. "The situation is not ideal for him. I don't know the particulars, I haven't spoken to him personally. It's somethings that I've been hearing for months; that under ideal circumstances he would prefer to be someplace other than Cleveland."

I don't really buy that. He went through years of losing and now he is unhappy? He also still gets to put similar numbers as he was doing pre Lebron unlike Kevin Love.

Some players actually want to carry a team. My guess is he feels like a second fiddle playing next to Lebron.

I wouldn't want to be in Cleveland either. I'd prefer being in a different city.

He could also be jealous of Lebron. I wouldn't be surprised if Irving is really spoiled too.

Not enough tailors for him to purchase suits that he can sit on the bench in?

Maybe Kyrie is home sick and wants to go back home to the East Coast.

He was the man in Cleveland for a couple years and we saw how that went. Just more of SAS's typical nonsense.

It's pretty amazing that some people actually take him serious. I mean, he's the biggest loudmouth in sports journalism, so who in their right mind would ever tell him anything. I'll tell you what though, he's lucky I'm not Kevin Durant or we'd be going bare knuckles for calling me out on TV. But I'm sure SAS knows that Durant is not that type of person which is why he felt comfortable saying it in the first place.

Maybe this coming from Kyrie's dad. Remember how pissed he was after Kyrie fractured his knee cap during the playoffs?

Maybe, KI hasn't wanted to be in Cleveland, since before last season. We just didn't hear about it, because of LeBron this and that, Cleveland traded this for that, AND Cleveland played in the Finals.

Yeah. I don't know why any player would talk to him. His sources say that anyone who isnt on the Knicks and Lakers is trying to play for the Knicks and Lakers.

So Byron's coaching did nothing for Kyrie?

If its true I can't blame him. That was Irving's team not too long ago now he's the 3rd sometimes 4th option depending on if JR Smith is making shots. He's just not a great fit with Lebron and Love because of his defense and lack of playmaking.

Yup. If you listen to his podcast with Woj, he makes it seem like he was in hell during the Byron / Brown years and now it's all coming together for him in being on a contending team.

Hahaha love that song. They were playing that on Mason & Ireland last year during the finals.

SAS hears something big every other day.

Stay tune for next week when he reads another interesting tweet and runs with it.

Some reporter -- he's been "hearing this for months" but hasn't bother to sk about the particulars or ask Irving.
