I'm so happy to have broke the BREAKING NEWS.

It reminds me of the old SNL skit, "Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead!" It never gets old.

We will know how great of a job he did when the lottery comes on the 17th. If the lakers lose out on the pick, 2016 season would have been the worst coaching and team season in NBA history, to me.

The more I read about Byron Scott, his coaching regime and anyone associated with him, it makes me wonder how the Lakers could be stupid enough to hire such garbage?

He talks a good game. He knows everyone in management, and he knew what they wanted to hear.

He also had the good fortune of having some great PG leaders that pretty much took over his teams in Kidd and Paul.

You could always change the title to: "BREAKING NEWS---Byron Scott is still fired!"

Harden would definitely be the player Byron wants in his foxhole.

The only way I see Byron coaching again is if a) He takes an AC job and becomes the interim after the HC gets fired or b) If Magic buys into an NBA franchise and recommends him for the job.

It wasn't the just the losing, it was all the dumb things he said and leaving his last job with the impression he doesn't know how to coach/communicate with young players.

Except Harden isn't actually good enough to put a team on his back when they need him to. Big difference between an "iso player" and a certified superstar

That's just silly. I'm no Harden fan but dude was MVP runner up as well as carrying that sad sack of Rockets to the WCF and then to the Playoffs this season when they had no business of being there. Don't let your hatred blind you from reality.

Did you read his quotes fiend? I was dying laughing. But now I kinda want somebody to hire him. It would be hilarious to watch another team suffer through what we did.

Byron on the Rockets feuding with Morey would be pure gold!

You would have to understand the reasons they hired him.

He'll probably get a second tier college interview/job or an assistant coaching gig in the NBA. Never going to be the HC for a NBA team again.
