I think DLO was unfortunately the scapegoat and marketing tool for a horrendous Iggy album. Controversy sells and it's not a coincidence this video leaked as soon as she was doing a press tour but was months old. Look at Beyoncé and her new album. Jay's the cheater and everyone is up in arms while they are on the beach together counting money. Look at the facts. Sad.

Now, DLO is just fine. He handled himself very well and you can see that he's an astute basketball mind. He will need a good offseason of conditioning and I hope he's hitching his trailer to Kobe for help. If we can somehow have DLO mimic Kobe season 2 and bring that fire, it's going to be a great season. The key is getting a coach and staff that looks at our roster and says DLO you're the guy.

I call (bleep) on what you are inferring because Iggy Azealia didn't not stick a phone into DLO's hands and told him to start recording private conversations. DLO made a mistake, looks like he's learned from it and moved on. Now let's stop making up stories to defend our boy, it looks even more pathetic than Nick Young's antics

I like DLO a lot. He did really well and I am glad he is on our team. Here are his stats, playing for Byron who we all know handicapped his game quite a bit. I mean Byron had to pull him out of the game because he was actually getting confident out there:

28.2 MPG, 13.2 PPG, 41% FG, 35% 3PT FG, 3.3 AST, 1.2 ST, 3.3 REB

28.4 MPG, 14.3 PPG, 42% FG, 33% 3PT FG, 1.3 AST, .7 ST, 7.3 REB

Anyone guess who the second stat line belongs to?

Yinoma will probably get it.

Porzingis

Bingo! And DLO played 80 games vs. 70 for Porzingis.

Russell and Luke is a match made in heaven. They are going to gel from day 1. Why? Because Luke is the anti-Byron.

With Walton coaching, Russell could pattern his game even more after Curry (who he compared himself with during draft-time)

Luke's prior comments:

“I think they’ve got some good, young talent,” Walton said. “D’Angelo (Russell) looks like he’s really starting to figure out the speed of the NBA game. He’s playing fluid and controlling the tempo, like he did in college. I’m a fan of (Larry) Nance."

Yup! Combine that with his comments about Randle and how he was "pulling for us" whenever he watched scouting tape. It was all but set in stone that Luke would be returning home.

I'd like to see Nance take on a destitute man's version of Green - or at least try to have that kind of defensive impact to a lesser degree.

He's got size, agility, and leaping ability.

I would love to see that too but Nance doesn't have the quickness that Draymond has.

Walton on D'Angelo: "He has very high potential. To me, he can be a perennial All-Star." Likes how he can score from 3-pt range + the post.

"He has very high potential. To me, he can be a perennial All-Star," Walton said. "He has the vision that you want your point guard to have. He sees the floor. Once they put him in the starting lineup, he naturally got a little more aggressive."

Walton liked how Russell could score not only on three-pointers but in the post and on spot-up midrange shots.

"I think there's so much natural ability there that if he puts in the work and is committed to wanting to be great, he can be a great point guard in this league," Walton added.
