Good angle .... forgot about Pau. Maybe Luke could sell Pau on the idea of coming back?

I think the Spurs have an inside edge on Pau if Duncan retires.

Something tells me we have a better chance of landing KD with Luke than Ollie. I wouldn't be surprised if Luke ends up being the reason KD joins. The interviews since the hiring have been rock solid. He knows how to get players to respect him and that's by giving respect to them. Nuances like that make the biggest difference. I suspect he'll be part of the pitch this off-season.

Luke does seem like someone who will make the players play for him.

Guy has said everything a player would want to hear from a coach.

It's not just that. He has a real good relationship with Green, who is supposedly one of the biggest hot heads in the league. He knows how to connect with even the most volatile personalities. Cousins might even be in play because of it. Sometimes gaining a players trust can be as simple as listening to them. A guy like KD comes from a harsh upbringing. Walton seems like a guy he can clear the air with.

You nailed it. It seems like he's someone who players will love to play for.

Cuban.

And yes it bothered me a lot. He said it multiple times... like damn how are you a native English speaker and still incapable of proper article usage?

Cuban. It was the indefinite article that I found amusing in that specific sentence.

Yes, but only if we hire someone as KD's personal grammar development coach. Maybe we can poach Lillard.

I don't believe in holding people to stringent standards of grammar. If 50% of America is messing it up, then maybe it's time for a change in standards..

It's not time for a change in standards, it's time for some people to learn a bit more.
