Not quite sure where to put this, but here's a link to the full game back in March against GS: _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. And people who would be happy in heaven if Christ were not there, will not be there."

Luke's 2016-2017 lineup..DLo/Hield/Durant/Anderson/Cousins...we gonna score like 150 pts/game.
Cousins in the GSW offense LOL
Hmm, a guy that can shoot, pass and dribble drive.
Yeah, he wouldn't be a fit. _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. Save the bananas. Stop creating terrible posts!

and inefficiently iso, iso, iso. yeah, he'd be perfect.
Because naturally the way a guy plays on a team with a set of players, system and coach will translate over to another team with all those things different. _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. Save the bananas. Stop creating terrible posts!

Let's say for the sake of argument somehow we luck out and get the 1st overall pick in this year's draft. Would Luke prefer the shooting of Ingram or the ball movement/handling of Simmons?
No question Luke goes for Simmons simply because he could end up as the 6' 10 version of Andre Igoudala. A guy like that is an enabler for everyone else on the team. That's a scary player and possibly a generational prospect.

While GS's ridiculous offensive efficiency is tied to the quality of their shooters, you don't necessarily need that level of shooting to reap the benefits of their offense. Most of the top offensive teams have learned from the Spurs and old 7 seconds or less Suns to run similar stuff without the same shooters.
Secondly, the Lakers have better shooters than people think. It's just that the old Byron system had them taking more contested threes than anyone else for two straight years. Look at what happened to the shooting percentages of the D'antoni holdovers.
That said, a good three and D SF would fit in nicely.
Bingo.
And of course we're not running the Triangle. No one runs the Triangle. One of these years the reason why that's the case will sink in to the last holdouts.

I think Luke would prefer Ingram but still would be ecstatic if he got Simmons. Ingram's shooting, elite length, and ball handling makes it an easy choice imo as the 1st pick in the draft. Ingram can play off the ball and fit with any players. If we draft Simmons he will have to be the primary ball handler like Lebron.
Julius Randle was a bit of a ball stopper too but he slowly improved. I'd imagine he'd take another step forward with the hiring of Luke as coach in that department.
If I was a coach I would run a hybrid triangle and two defense. It's the best defense to stop guards. You can't keep giving these stars the same looks. I would mix it up every few possessions with a 1-3-1. Man defense is too easy to beat because of the screens.

Listening to him talk after two years of Byron is refreshing.
Definitely a change from the antagonistic relationship Byron had with his players. Hearing Draymond talk about how important he was in his development just tells me how good of a teacher he is.
