who else was grinning the entire time they watched this clip??

I was thinking the same thing. But one guy not grinning was the one between Hodges and Kareem (~2:04) who wasn't introduced.

explains why he got the horrible contract.

What horrible contract? It was a great contract for Luke. Why is it when a player gets a good contract for HIM it's horrible if it hurts the organization?

Kobe signed a extension that benefited him and hurt the organization as much, if not more, than Luke's. Was that a horrible contract?

Luke getting injured is what made the contract seem bad. Kobe not being able to perform up to standard because he was injured made his contract seem bad.

Staples didn't boo Luke. They chanted Luuuuuuke when they wanted him in the game when he was a Laker. Cooooop, any name sounding like a boo happens at Staples.

agree. it's weird when fans act like they are the owners. If the owners want to dish it out, I'm fine with it! It ain't my money! The anger at Kobe's contract, btw, was insane. "Oh Duncan and KG sacrificed for their team!" nonsense. Duncan and KG didn't get Kobe money because they are not as good, just like Tom Brady has never really been the highest paid qb in the league. because he's not.
