(bleep) Liverpool, so glad they lost.
Gatekeeper who u want Utd to buy this summer?
My dream Arsenal buy would be Lukaku, he'd be everything we need in a striker, brings the strength and hold up ability of Giroud, but is younger, quicker and a more reliable finisher. He might be on the move too as Everton are terrible, he's way too good for them. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

I'm not that high on Lukaku. He's a heck of a brilliant player, but I'd rather give Rashford a real go. Our top priority this summer would be a second striker to spell/replace Rooney. My dream signing at that position would be Griezmann. Then I'd take a look at right wing for possibly someone like Schalke's Leroy Sane or Leicester's Riyad Mahrez. We should go for a DM as well, but if someone like Varane fills in as our centerback alongside Smalling, we could move Blind back into midfield. Oh, and keep DDG and tell LVG to take an early sabbatical to Portugal.
Players to let go: Jones, Rojo, Rooney _________________ Character

Would be a definite upgrade on what we have but after that Di Maria fiasco, I'm not sure if we should pull the trigger. I also hear he likes his nightlife at the discoteca, not sure he'd find many of those in Manchester. From watching the limited number of Real Madrid games this season, Isco has done more than James, but I'm sure Wilt knows about it more than I do. _________________ Character

Undoubtedly talented, but the real question against him over in the prem is whether he's too lightweight or not. Does he struggle with the physicality of the premier league if he came over here? _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

James has been a disappointment in his second season. He had a decent first season, but it then all went downhill. Two problems I see: Attitude and lack of speed. For a young and relatively fit guy, it's strange that he's slower than most centerbacks. And since he hasn't been featured in many games, he has lost a lot of confidence. He's definitely skilled and has a habit of scoring great goals, but his shortcomings overshadow his positives. My guess is that Madrid will sell him to finance a Pogba purchase this summer, before more people realize that James has regressed significantly. Madrid fans have largely forgotten he exists. Maybe he'd fit better in a different system. Madrid doesn't really feature a 10, so he could be more successful with a different team. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid! |

This to me will be a true test of his management. First time he's really inherited a team that isn't currently a legitimate contender in their league. People have talked about him as someone who cherry picks his jobs, goes in buys a couple of 30-something plaeyrs who are ready to win now, rides that momentum for a couple of seasons then bounces once it starts to falter.
As a personality I can't stand him, his ego is out of control and he has no respect for others, I know a lot of United fans who absolutely hate this appointment. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

I'll be starting a new thread soon for next season probably after CL finals. |
Certainly gonna be an interesting transfer window, especially with the Euros going on, chance to see players who do well and then spark clubs' interest. For prem teams it's the first year ot the new TV deal, so they'll have a lot more money to spend also.
I like Xhaka, he's different to what we have in his size, his defsnsive qualities and strength, and also his technical quality as a deep lying passer. Hopefully this move is followed up by Wenger finally getting us a real striker. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

So Real won on PKs? I didn't watch any of it. Sounds like a less than stellar game. |

Good for you Wilt; La Undécima, is it?
I'm happy for Cristiano; Pepe makes me sick in my mouth with his playacting. Oblak might as well have been replaced with a cardboard cutout during penalties. Utterly useless. Hopefully the missed penalty and finishing runner-up a second time will convince Griezmann to move to Old Trafford over the summer.
+1 that poor girl, we got our new Roxanne Charlifoux. _________________ Character
