Neither does OKC's collapse. On the other hand, if their team didn't collapse, there would be no reason for them to leave. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

I think Simmons or Ingram + another max player joining him might change his mind.
Howard
Durant
Ingram
Clarkson
Russel
In a GSW style offense would get durant much easier looks. He's a great scorer but would be even more deadly if he had someone creating for him or the offense designed to get hominem looks like curry. |

I'm genuinely worried that Durant won't be able to deliver in the Finals, even if he came here and Lakers were good enough to make it to the Finals.
But I could be wrong. |

Despite how young the team is, it's both a better fit for him here and just more talented than the crap roster the Thunder have excluding Westbrook.
And they will NEVER get any better. They still after all these years failed to find a decent replacement for Harden or even Thabo Sefolosha at SG and their owner is cheep while spending money on the wrong players (Perkins, Kanter, etc).
With the cap space, a coach that would actually have a real system (unlike the constant isolation on the Thunder), and talent despite being young, is very talented and more so than that roster. And will be much more so in a year or two anyway.
Durant coming here is a long shot but he knows by now that there is no hope in a title for that kind of organization. Maybe he leaves and doesn't sign here, that's possible too. But him signing here makes a lot more sense than sticking with a future treadmill team for the rest of his career. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Okc role players (minus adams) are responsible for the series defeat. Robertsons inability to hit open shots killed them.....wouldnt even shoot wide open shots at the end. Okc as constructed wont win a championship.....if okc fans and media start getting on durant you never know? |
