He would probably rather be on the Rockets with Dantoni there now and the fact that Harden will most likely be their point guard (if he wasn't already). |
Beverley will be there PG if they can't find a better one.

Yep. However the Blazers have $32 million in available cap space. Do they max him at $22 million or does Parsons give up less money from other teams that will gladly pay him max money. I think the answer is no to both of those questions. |

I think any team would be dumb to set a cap at $20M if a player's max deal is $22M. That extra 2M represents 1.8% of the projected salary cap in 2017-18. Spend the extra coin to get your guy. |
