Illuminati!

Nah, Freemasonry. Found this guy on youtube who completely exposes professional sports, Zachary K Hubbard. May be hard to believe for some, so watch with an open mind.

My exact reaction until i actually sat down and took the time to watch. You can still enjoy sports but just know a lot of games are predetermined... Why do you think Curry looked depressed all finals?

The league usually catches up to super teams. Look at our situation 8 years ago (can't believe it's been that long). Many of us thought we were going to run the NBA for the next 5-6 years. We did make 3 straight finals, but by the time we were gunning for our fourth, the league had already figured us out (you also have to factor in the playoff mileage required for those types of runs). One must acknowledge the fact that the NBA landscape can drastically change within the course of 2 or even 1 year. When you have the super team tag, it's basically you against 29 teams. The field usually wins.

With that said, I do think that having a robust draft/player development department will prolong a team's ability for sustained excellence, given that you can add value to your roster at a cost effective rate. In other words, it'll yield the best long term results. We just have to be patient. What did us in in previous seasons was our compulsive nature to flip assets for players that would not produce at the rate of their respective contracts (Artest, Nash et al). Which really ends up effing you over as you can't maximize the value of your cap. I think we're due to not make this mistake again.

You guys need an update. The Illuminati and Free Masons are totally passe. It's the Bilderberg Group that controls the NBA.

Um...they didn't figure anything out. it was the veto. Stern had to cheat, in a sense, and do something unprecedented or else the Lakers were poised to dominate for yet another 6-8 years. Imagine if somehow the Shaq trade to LA was vetoed in the same way. It would have been a disaster, and the resulting scramble from the Lakers might have similarly ended up in several years of lottery teams instead of the three-peat that sat right around the corner.

The Lakers got waxed by Dallas before the veto.

No, the veto killed our attempt to retool after the league had clearly caught up to us.
