Kobe should get a baby with someone like Candace Parker. It would make a good player.

Congrats Kobe. Both girls look like Kobe. Maybe this one will take after Vanessa.

He should adopt D'Angelo.

Kobe would strangle him.

Kobe actually did make a son and it was suppose to be his second child but he died be before he was born.

Didn't he talked about that in his Muse movie?

I just did the math. It turns out that the baby was conceived during half-time of Kobe's 60 point game.

having any child is a joy. there is nothing like holding a baby of your own in your arms. having him or her sit on your lap, watching games with you, playing with him or her, entertaining him or her, I love my kid.

Kobe gonna have to get another woman pregnant to get a son. Vanessa got 3 strikes already..

You suggesting Kobe pull a Henry VIII?

D-wade had a baby son, xavier wade, when he and gabby were on a temporary break.[/quote

Wade has 3 sons

Speaking of parents I wonder if Kobe's parents found out when we did.

I'm happy for them, but have been praying for years for a son. Selfish I know.

Congratulations to the family though!

Congrats to Kobe and Vanessa but damn I really wanted a Kobe Jr. Guess it's just not meant to be.

It's very unlikely that a son would be the next Kobe. It's very hard to grow up in those footsteps and genetically, he would probably be a lot shorter and less athletic than Kobe is.

Since we're all lamenting the fact it's not a boy, here's footage of Shareef dunking on his dad...

If Kobe had a boy that ended up playing in the NBA, he would be the Joffrey of the NBA.

It's happened on a few occasions. Probably the most prominent example is Bruce Hale, who played a couple of years in the NBA in the early 50s. His daughter married Rick Barry. Barry's three kids in the NBA are his grandkids.
