The only way I may consider trading for him is if he negotiates an extension (say 3 years with 3rd year player option so he can get a 10+ year max). Even then I prefer waiting for FA.

I would trade Ingram and Clarkson or Ingram and Randle for PG 13 right now. Otherwise I probably don't trade either. I am extremely in love with their potential. Almost untouchable "right now". Clarkson and Randle should be able to snag the missing piece in the future I could see that.
If you can add a star to the core of Russell/Ingram/Nance in the next couple of years I think you mos def have a chance.

Westbrook is going to cost us DLO plus one of the young players. DLO and Randall is who I would trade to get Westbrook, especially if he expressed a desire to re-sign with us now. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions!
My hope of our young core are:
Dlo: the goat and leading scorer, like Curry or Irving
Ingram: 2nd scoring option, leading help defender, facilitator, like LBJ, Green
Randle: leading rebounder
Clarkson: leading scorer off the bench
Zubac: low post scorer and rim protector
Nance: something new and very special, athletic 5 with range
AB: best defender to fast-break, like Green of Spurs
Deng and Mozgov will play significant role in 1-2 years while Calderon will be play 10-15 minutes as our backcourt are more ready.
I would be quite interesting to see we play the following lineup:
Randle/Black: rebounding and rim protector
Deng/Nance: defensive 4
Ingram: facilitator, help def, 2nd-3rd scoring option
Clarkson: 2nd-3rd scoring option, run and defend fast break
Russell: leading scorer
Vs Warriors
Green
KD
K Thompson
Igudala
Curry
Vs Cavaliers
T Thompson
LBJ
Jefferson
JR Smith
Irving

Ingram has more potential, so I will trade Russell if I have no choice. I still can't see Russell breaking down/getting past his defender even against lower level players at summer league.
Ingram's potential is through the roof, when that kid gets an NBA body and some experience he's gonna be a cornerstone NBA player. I wouldn't even trade him for KAT.
Ingram is a keeper for sure. I would trade Russell for Westbrook in a heartbeat but Sam Presti, being as smart as he is, would never consider such a deal.
After seeing the 4 summer league games so far, I truly believe Russell is the weakest link and will hold our team back. He is not athletic like a lot of other guys on our team so his contribution on defense will be minimal. He would have to be extremely efficient on offense, curry-like efficient, in order to make up for his futility on defense. I hope the Lakers FO will realize that this and make a smart decision about him. I would not trade him now since his stock is relatively low but I would consider it around the all-star break if he's having a decent year. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend!
