Well sheet. The first reboot was great. Went from that to this Fast and the Furious jackhole directing? |

Interesting. Seems like to me they were trying really hard to not give too much away in the trailer. |

Assuming there is actually anything to give away. |

I live my life a quarter light year at a time.
I can only picture Sulu shifting gears at warp speed.
I'll still watch it. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

It's the music. Aside from the Beastie Boys playing over the entire trailer, it looks just like any other JJ-Trek. |

Man...
It looks horrible, but I still want to see it because its Star Trek.
Hope the movie is better than the trailer... _________________ The journey to 17 begins... |

Abrams did better with ST than he did with TFA though. |

Thanks. Was planning to either see ST or Ghostbusters this weekend. I've heard both good and bad reviews of GB but I didn't like either of the ST reboots so I was dubious whether I'd like the third. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Ghostbusters was 1/10. It's a shame they pulled Murray, Aykroyd into that mess, especially since their cameo roles were a slap in the face. If you absolutely had to watch either this weekend, watch ST. It's an average movie that has some moments. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

5/10 that's a real shame. I actually really liked the Khan sequel AND the fast and furious later movies. Justin Lin's recent work so audacious ballsy action in the Fast Furious movies. Was really hoping for a continued high level all around but hope waned after the preview. |

The best moments were the inside references and relationships between the characters. But the plot was weak, movie was very slow getting to the set-up, the villain was lame and the editing was confusing at times. But if you're a Trekker who sees every Trek film, it's worth it for the inside references and tributes. If not, see something else. |

Wow, those are pretty high scores! They're a lot better than I thought they'd be, especially after that first trailer. I'll probably head to the theaters to see it in a month or so once the crowds have died down. |

I felt like they phoned this one in, compared to the last two. It felt lacking only in the sense that you felt very little emotion throughout the movie.
There were a few moments that they could have capitalized on but ended up missing the mark.
Dazzling to watch, but lacked emotion. |

I feel like a lot of the lines missed the mark. It wasn't as clever as the other movies but was still enjoyable. I give it a 6 or a 7, but it was not as good as the previous. |
