As long as he doesn't turn into Roy Hibbert 2.0, I'm good. |
There nothing alike.
Mozgov has high IQ and has always known to play with effort. |
Not saying they are alike, just saying I don't want him to be a flop like Hibbert was (in more ways than one). |
Hibbert was a solid defender, I hope Mozgov is as well. |
His speed was so slow in transition for both offense and defense that because of him we always lose whatever momentum we had |
If you are relying on your center for transition defense then you are already screwed. |
This is a very true statement. At some point your perimeter guys have to hold their own on defense. They can't keep looking to the guys in the paint to cover for them |

13-14: 82 games
14-15: 81 games
15-16: 76 games.

So he is trending downward:
16-17: 70 games
17-18: 62 games
18-19: 52 games
19-20: 41 games (end of Lakers contract)
------------------------------------------
20-21: 30 games
21-22: 21 games
22-23: 11 games
23-24: 2 games
2024: Retired... |
A bit of a small sample size to try to extract a trend from don't you think? |
Come on Mr. Smith, it was all tongue in cheek, you could tell I was kidding right?
Actually I am pulling for him, another way to look at it is the last three years he has averaged 79.6 games! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

No way he lives up to that contract. Even he he plays like 2015 it's still not enough. |

Sucks Moz got injured today. Hopefully he won't be playing more meaningless exhibition games for team Russia. |

You realize that that contract is pretty much in go forward dollars the equivalent of a 10 mil deal before the cap spike? Not a bargain, but hardly a huge burden nor a star level deal. If he's a 24 mpg anchor and Pick and Roll guy for our young guards, it pays itself off nicely. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Groin injuries has a lot of factors some of them you need to ice it for a couple of hours or days and perhaps the worse case scenario is that you need to let it heal by resting for a few weeks, Groin injuries have always been random in every sports, it happens a lot. |

His impact will be huge in screen action, action that is fundamental to lukes offense. I know dlo is going to love feeding him off picks because dlo always looks for the roll man and mozgov is one of the best diving bigs in the nba statistically. With the depth we actually have we will be able to preserve him and play small ball as well with guys like black, nance or randle at center. I'm interested to see how zubac fares against nba level competition though not the scrubs from dleague. |
