She certainly sounds as delusional as Cousins rightfully suggests ... but for proper perspective, one should allow the depth of seriousness in Geno's words to settle over the room ... if political correctness allowed for it, her own coach would instinctively shake his head "no" without entertaining the thought, sputter "Are you (bleep) kidding me?", and then quickly assert right then and there that his own player wouldn't score a single (bleep) point against Cousins. 11-0, 21-0, whatever ... the only shot of scoring a point would be in the inevitable cat-battering-mouse scenario whereby Cousins lost enough interest to actually defend his opponent on a possession or two. Winners out, she would probably never see the ball if Cousins drew first blood ...

Slow sports day ... and with the USWNT ousted early, the girl power energy in the U.S.A. has to land somewhere, I guess. I've long held the opinion that the U.S. Women's Basketball team wouldn't stand much of a chance, if any, with any of the Top 50 Men's college basketball programs, and in some years, at least a handful of Top 10 high school programs. There's just too much explosive athletic ability in the men's game to contend with ...

“When Jackson ran a youth basketball camp in Montana early in his coaching career, he recalls pitting a state champion high school girls team against a group of middle-school boys who had never played together. The outcome of the game was so one-sided in favor of the boys that it has stuck in Jackson’s mind ever since. ‘(The girls) were all four to six inches bigger than these boys, and they got beat by 40 points,’ Jackson said. ‘It was one of those things that opened my eyes to the differences.

She could beat him in what, checkers?

No offense to her, but he would embarrass her and I very much doubt she could even beat the average Division III mens college player in a game of 1 on 1, she is simply way to slow.

If Cousins spotted her 20 points he would still win. She's not picking on just anybody here..she's picking on one of the most skilled big men we have in the NBA. A guy that would thrive in a 1 on 1 game.
