why am I seeing WWE stuff on the ESPN page? Also on First take they were interviewing a wrestler. Did they sign a contract? I find it a bit cheap to have the WWE on the flagship sports network in the country. |

They're already doing point spreads/bad beats and fantasy football on what has become SportsCenter, I have come to expect "cheap". Just another reason for me not to watch, to each their own. |

It's all entertainment any way. They've had actors do Sports Center to promote their new movies, which aren't even sports movies. |

While we're at it, BSPN might as well show Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey circus as well... |

Well when you lose sports properties as much as ESPN did because they overpaid for others, they will partner with other entertainment entities that need more exposure like WWE to make up the deficit. |

In the 80s, I think the AWA used to be on ESPN. |

ESPN should cover other Wrestling promotions like ROH, TNA, New Japan Pro Wrestling and others. Even Indies Wrestling |

Exactly. ESPN is in the entertainment business, with an appeal to people who want sports content. Enough of that demographic wants wrestling coverage to justify covering it. It's always funny to me when people think of ESPN as a journalistic endeavor. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

There's too many of them. They might just show highlights of some bizarre matches, but that's about it. And even then, they probably need the WWE's permission with their partnership. But it'd be great if they highlighted the talent outside of WWE. |
