Buying laker season tickets for what for the first time in what is going to be to be the ugliest year in decades for season ticket holders. |

I'm a HUGE Die Hard fan, I have all of them on Blu ray!
Here is the order of best to worst (IMO):
1. Die Hard with a Vengeance
2. Die Hard (first)
3. Live Free or Die Hard
4. Die Harder (#2)
5. A Good Day to Die Hard _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

I consider myself a die-hard fan. I watch every game(barring any unforeseen circumstances) and I plan my work/school schedule around the Lakers(and the NBA, in general). I'm younger than a good majority of this forum, but I've been following the Lakers for 15 years now. Time flies.
I haven't been to too many games because I haven't been able to afford tickets(even for nosebleeds), but now that I will somewhat be able to, I'll be going to a lot more as seasons go by. Not being able to go to any Laker games during the 08-10 finals/championship run still stings though |

Grew up listening to Chick on the radio. Only watched games on ch 9, didn't have cable tv. Would listen to pre and post game shows instead of doing my homework Got to attend several games for calling in, answering trivia questions, etc. Would use 25 cents of my lunch money every day to read sports page and analyze box scores. The games that I did see on tv, I would tape record and review in slow motion, etc. lol. I even made dubbed music into them sometimes. lol. Record over a bad ass music video i made in the 8th grade in favor of the Magic Johnson all star out of retirement game. Not enough time or room to write right now. But it's funny |

I need to marry a Lakers girl and put all you posers to shame.
Watched the team starting in 1992 with my Grandpa. Listening to Chick Hearn was priceless. I feel a bit of sadness that new fans don't get to experience that firsthand. Loved the fight in the Nick/Eddie/Cedric/Elden/Vlade teams. Looking forward to overachieving attitude with our young unit now. |

I can only remember 2 of those movies. Might do a Die Hard movie-marathon weekend next weekend. I'm sure my gf will love that (sarcasm). _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

I made a similar joke earlier but I guess no one saw it.

Was a die hard until I started my grad school/career now just a big fan. Don't really follow the little day to day details like I use to in my teens and college days |

Man, when I was younger I used to skip events for Lakers games. I used to fake sickness so I could stay home to watch Laker games instead of hanging out with friends. I used to plan dates around Laker games. Needless to say, I have changed a lot since then but I still manage to catch a lot of games. I still love the Lakers but just not as obsessively as I did 5-10 years ago.
I have been a league pass subscriber since the year they started that, which I believe was in the late 90's. |
