Go Lakers!
Oh.
Well I don't care about NYK vs CLE at all but I'll watch SAS vs GSW. I'm really looking most forward to the return of Inside the NBA. |

Regular season started today. Might as well create a separate topic dedicated to this. I know people will say this belongs in the general basketball discussion section, but many of the discussions pertaining to other teams went well into the official FA thread here. No one browses the general NBA section anyways, so might as well. |

I'll start: Knicks look terrible. Brandon Jennings is their version of Lou Williams. |

Ha ha, he might be here whether we like it or not!
Author's note: NOT LAUGHING
I think the Knicks amount to "meh" if they aren't injured. |

The Knicks are settling in and look a bit better. Noah looks like he's struggling, but Rose is at least looking spry in transition. |

Anyone use reborn4hdlive? Was it good last season? Thinking of paying the $100 bucks for the season, but I got boned with ballstreams last year when it shut down. |

Is it me or is Porzingis a bad rebounder considering he's 7'3? |

That was one of the knocks on him coming in. His rebounding numbers dipped drastically in the 2nd half of the year last year IIRC |

Not sure about reborn. From what I hear, international league pass + VPN is a really good combo. It's way cheaper in other countries and there are no blackouts. You can research it online. |

Knicks offense reminds me of the last two years of watching the Lakers ISO fest when Tank Commander was on the sideline.
Glad those days are over. |

Watching Noah tank the game makes me even more happy having Mozgov despite the critics whining about the contract. |

The Knicks look awful. They will have a top 5 pick this year with an aging Melo and Noah. |

Ugh. There is no reason the Knicks should be getting prime time games like this. This is the same junk the schedulers do with the Lakers, giving them the big games because of their name even though it ends up being an awful game. |

Having two starters score zero points is a bad look. |

Phil Jackson's vision of the triangle doesn't quite work with 3 ball-stoppers on the team, does it?
Melo is obviously good enough, but Rose has difficulty spacing the floor. And then they have Brandon Jennings, their very own version of Lou Williams, coming off the bench and picking up right where they left off.
I don't hate their players. Hate is a really strong word. I just hate bad, ball-stopping basketball. |

Oh.
I started one on the General Basketball forum. They should probably be merged (although technically mine was first ).
Anyway, that Bleacher Report GSW "musical" was funny. (Not LOL funny, but well done) |
