I think Gobert is going to be a challenge. If their plays are slow to develop I'm curious how well our guards scout out the passing lanes and whether improved team and man defense might force Utah into more iso play when the clock winds down? Will the Jazz rely on last years' Laker action in their film room scouting sessions? If only we could be so lucky.
Rebounding could be a problem, do we counter size with a healthy dose of Randle/Nance/Ingram track meet action? It'll be interesting to see how cohesive our offense is in half court when they get aggressive with their guards and Gobert lurches around down low.
I'll be happy if the Lakers can just keep this game close.
We struggled against this team last year. Favors and Gobert are a tough match-up.
I believe I was watching a video from GT awhile back and the Utah team knew our plays even before we ran them under Byron; with no effective counters, we struggled to get off any decent look, obviously.
Interested to see how this team can counter under if the initial play is taken away...it will be a good early season test.
Good stuff! Will be a challenge, and possibly a bit of a let down game after the big home opener. Will be interesting to see how they handle defensive pressure that wasn't there last night.

Oh, and Favors might possibly not play...
If favors is out again we should take them, even on the road. Hayward and Favors are both really good. Gobert is pretty awesome inside.
If favors is out, no way fat Boris D can keep up with our pace...and Joe Johnson is pretty long in the tooth too. I have a pretty good feeling about this game, seems like we are catching the Jazz at a good time and our confidence is high.

LA 106
UTAH 103
Favors is out? In that case, I change my mind. Without Hayward and Favors playing, the Lakers might even be favored (ha). Or maybe I'm getting carried away
