I guess this is what happens when you no longer play for Byron.

Let's see if Hibbert can keep it up consistently his problem has always been focus issues, maybe Clifford can get the best out of him but Moz has proven he can do it consistently ( see 2015 and when he got minutes in Denver).

Who Was the center when Nance and Randle were out there? when Randle wasn't out there black was in at center. I would love for mosgov to play right around 30 minutes if he can handle it. we Get killed on the boards and in the paint. he At least provides a deterrent when he's in.

Teams go small and then on switches Mozgov will get torched. Also, he isn't offensively skilled enough to consistently punish a mismatch.

That is the part we were lacking last season and it seems like Julius is also learning to take advantage of mismatches playing the big man game.

With the due time Russell may also be able to better use Mozgov as the roll man because he is a strong finisher. Dlo should incorporate a consistent lob pass to his arsenal, that is a must from the PG position with players like Mozgov, Nance and even Ingram out there because they are all strong finishers with some hoops making a lob over the defense often more efficient than a bounce pass.

I am glad no one told him that before the Rocket game.

Then we go small like against the Rockets. We need Mozgov to handle opposing Cs and bring some size and toughness, not to play in a small ball lineup. I expect him to show his worth against Gobert tonight.

Black was promised a chance, and was payed to show that. Black should have more than one game to show that he can be effective.

Neither you or davidse are Mozgov haters, you disagree with the terms of his contract. And that is a fair argument.

These are the games we should get used to. I did watch the Rocket and he wasn't dominating any mismatches. He can't carry

He got frustrated and committed a lot of stupid fouls in the 3rd.

But it was also clear how much we need him against traditional centers.

Glad that is clear. With that said, you know who dominated Gobert with the Jazz play off life on the line last season? My guy Cole Aldrich

I'm trolling you guys lol.

Moz played a decent game overall but Gobert was too quick and athletic for him at times.

IDK I thought Moz held his own and at some points was to much for gobert.

The thing I saw happen was our guards would get beat forcing Mozgov to come help and allowing gobert easy offensive putbacks. That certainly isn't his fault.

I didn't like him picking up those stupid fouls though, whether they were or not fouls doesn't matter he put himself in a bad position.

Yeah I noticed Mozgov being out of position a lot too due to helping.
