Hopefully we surprise the world with a win Sunday.
OKC is looking shaky. They had to come from behind and eek out a win in Philly, and it took some Kobe like effort from Westbrook to beat the Suns in OT in OKC. So hopefully the Lakers come out sharp and play with that same defensive tenacity Sunday. The shots will eventually drop.
We can wear them down with our depth but I am concerned about our rebounding against OKC'c bigs.
That'll definitely be an obstacle. I think a positive to take away from tonights game is that they got a taste of tough inside hard nose rebounding from Utah. Hopefully that prepares them a bit for the bruising they'll get from Sabonis and Adams Sunday.
OKC is barely ekeing out wins against Philly and the Suns. I'm obviously a little biased but I feel we're better than those two teams for sure.
One thing certain is that this team will battle. They will scratch and claw to give themselves a chance to win.
We almost beat Utah at their own game in Utah so I feel we have a decent shot at beating OKC.
Utah is a helluva defensive team. Lakers held their own. I'm proud of how we fought. So far I've been impressed and I think we're exceeding expectations

Yeah I kind of cringe at the celebrating. Like when Magic was draped all over Kareem at the end of his first career game, and Cap had to tell him to settle down . At least that was the end of the game. I don't really like seeing the mid-game celebrations. Can't get too high or too low. It's a long season.
