Hopefully we surprise the world with a win Sunday.

OKC is looking shaky. They had to come from behind and eek out a win in Philly, and it took some Kobe like effort from Westbrook to beat the Suns in OT in OKC. So hopefully the Lakers come out sharp and play with that same defensive tenacity Sunday. The shots will eventually drop.

We can wear them down with our depth but I am concerned about our rebounding against OKC'c bigs.

That'll definitely be an obstacle. I think a positive to take away from tonights game is that they got a taste of tough inside hard nose rebounding from Utah. Hopefully that prepares them a bit for the bruising they'll get from Sabonis and Adams Sunday.

OKC is barely ekeing out wins against Philly and the Suns. I'm obviously a little biased but I feel we're better than those two teams for sure.

One thing certain is that this team will battle. They will scratch and claw to give themselves a chance to win.
We almost beat Utah at their own game in Utah so I feel we have a decent shot at beating OKC.

Utah is a helluva defensive team. Lakers held their own. I'm proud of how we fought. So far I've been impressed and I think we're exceeding expectations

OKC right now kinda reminds me the Lakers during 05-06. Kobe had to play like a (bleep) madman to give us a chance to beat some bad teams.

Steve Smith is right about Russell. How about having 4 or 5 good games in a row before acting like you're the sh-t.

Team is competitive and kept up with Utah.

If they play like this the rest of the year despite the record
things are getting better.

They are stepping out of laughing-stock status and becoming respectable, even when they lose. We're a Myles Turner away from being a playoff team.

Want to get more mad at the refs and scorekeepers in Utah?

9:40

Lou Williams makes a 3. Inside the line and everything. They don't update the score.

Effectively when the Lakers were up 76-72 before the Jazz made their run, the Lakers should have been up 79-72.

Really disgusting home cooking that Utah did just to ensure their home team won their home opener, as if the 40-21 free throw difference wasn't enough.

They counted that 3. Afterward they reviewed cLarksons 3 and took it away.

How about having 2 or 3 seasons in the row where he's good before he starts thinking that..

Yeah I kind of cringe at the celebrating. Like when Magic was draped all over Kareem at the end of his first career game, and Cap had to tell him to settle down . At least that was the end of the game. I don't really like seeing the mid-game celebrations. Can't get too high or too low. It's a long season.
