Sure, Lou Wil is a great microwave instant offense guy. Like a younger Crawford.

Ed Davis was a great signing, but Byron happened and then we went after LMA.

Young could turn out to be very good as well. I am still not completely sold on his make over, but so far so good with Luke.

The Lakers are in a youth movement but the veterans Lou and Nick have carried the team in this young season. Without them, the tank thread would be rolling strong.

What's crazy is when we sign Young and Lou, people thought there wouldn't be enough shots to go around because they are gunners. Not only are there enough shots, Young is clearly the go to scorer on the first unit, and Lou is the go to scorer on the second unit. They don't even play with each other, so no one is fighting for shots.

The Lakers' Lou Williams has 137 points in fourth quarters this season, third in the league behind only Russell Westbrook and Dame Lillard.

That's superstars numbers right there

Nick Young begs to differ.

A pretty UGH list:

2011-12: Kapono, Troy Murphy
2012-13: Meeks, Jamison
2013-14: Young, Kaman, W.Johnson,
2014-15: Ed Davis, Ellington
2015-16: Lou, Bass
2016-17: Moz, Deng

Lou may actually be the best FA signing by the Lakers in the past 6 seasons. I'd prefer to keep him until his deal expires as he is a key cog in the system.

How would you rate the top 3 FA signings in the past 6 years? Mine:

1. Lou
2. Young ( )
3. Moz

This is the end result after all of your official FA threads over the years? I feel for you man .

Can't disagree with your ranking one bit. Concern that Young would command JR Smith money, so far his D and 3 balls is on par

JR only got paid so much because the Cavs are contending and he's a key piece. No other team was willing to pay him.

Hope so, had this convo at another thread, Young is actually one of the better option at big wings this summer but what's a fair $ for him since he will eat into our available max FA $

You have to throw Jodie Meeks into this conversation. His impact was not a step worse than Nick's one has been.
