Man, I'm really bummed that Fisher got two more years. I almost fell out of my chair when i heard. This guy is useless...I just don't understand it at all.

As good as our defense can be, we really suck at takeaways.

Chris Long is probably really happy he got cut by the Rams and signed with the Patriots.

The announcers aren't even being subtle about criticizing the Fisher extension.

Following talk on Twitter, Fisher might very well be out after this season. Some think it is a retirement package, they buy him out for next season and then do not exercise the option for 2018. He gets paid an extra year to walk away.

I thought this sounded absurd at first til I read this.

ESPN

Quote:
Fisher later confirmed his extension and said he signed it "well before" even the first preseason game, which took place 114 days ago.

So it wasn't as if they awarded him the extension AFTER the Saints blowout.

Quote:
Sources told ESPN they believe the deal includes a team option for the Rams, who still could part ways with Fisher after the season and owe him only one year of salary.

I guess there's another "source" who agrees with what was posted on twitter.

I got my account suspended over at my usual Rams message board for being critical of the team. I am beside myself right now with this JF extension stuff.

Unreal.

To add insult to injury...
Pockets - 1
Fisher - 0

Lmao. Such a buffoon. He's Byron Scott all over again.

Can the rams relocate again? Doesn't seem like an LA team to root for.

With the way its going, 2019 might be the year when they finally make the playoffs just in time for the new stadium....
Funny out of the 3 teams that wanted to come to LA, only the Raiders are any good........the Chargers will probably come to LA in 2017, so we will be home to 2 mediocre NFL teams.

Looks like the Coliseum will have to switch to FieldTurf or some other turf surface....no way they can play on grass with 3 teams on it.

I haven't seen any major fanclub or any large rallies clamoring for the Chargers in LA.....this is in comparison to the the Raider fans or Rams fans when they were in question to moving back to LA. My guess is Spanos knows he has no good options in staying since they will never get a new stadium down there and probably would rather piggyback off the Rams stadium. Here is the big problem for the Chargers....how will they fill the stadium when they are barely any better than the Rams, at least the Rams have a fanbase built over 46 years in the LA metro area. There is only room for one bad team in LA and I believe the Rams have the edge due to their history not to mention taking advantage of being the first team back in LA after no pro football in over 22 years.

Boy do the Rams suck!!!!!!
Coliseum looks like theres lot of empty seats...
Rams muff the kickoff and turn the ball over.....Matt Ryan throws his first pass of the game for a TD 10 seconds into the game.
