Hey all,

Here's my latest at Bleacher Report:

Also, Lou Williams on how he draws fouls and T. Rob contributing.

We touched on a similar topic on the latest episode of Hollywood Hoops.

Any chance the FO looks to further Improve the roster? I mean if the opportunity is there why not even make it better?

Scale from 1-10 how likely do you see Deng getting traded?

Deng is unproductive and has a long contract, I don't see any market for him this season

Agreed.

Emp, assuming that his contract is untradable and he gets no better or worse for the next 3.75 years do you believe that the lakers will ride his contract out? I was taking a look at our expiring contracts and it would seem to make sense to stretch his remaining 36 million at the end of 2017-18 to give us additional cap room. Lou and Black expire then and I think Swag is going to opt out after this year and want $8-10 Million (we should pass BTW).

The summer of 18 has alot of good possible FA"s...Cousins, Hayward, Bradley, Favors. After next season we should be looking to make a push into the top half of the playoff bracket hopefully.

Interested to hear your thoughts.

There's honestly no reason to really contemplate Deng's future with the team, he probably doesn't get significantly better and there's no real way to gauge future markets. Too many variables, too much changes over each significant rite of passage Equally his salary is not going to cripple the Lakers, though it certainly doesn't help

Hi Eric,

Do you see Ingram starting after the ASB or do you think Luke will preserve the second unit as his sledgehammer moving forward.

If the Lakers continue as they were before injuries, I'd expect Ingram off the bench in that role

How long can the Lakers widthstand injuries? It seems like the team can use someone with talent that isn't on the team.

Deng has been a disappointment. I thought he'd be a good pickup. Don't know if he's done or just playing for a paycheck.

Lakers shed a albatross contract in Kobe only to pick up another with Deng.

Deng's $ isn't crippling at all - not helpful but the team still has a max slot this summer if needed
