The injury thing is now an annual issue. It's been going back for years now. I get many teams have injuries but I can't think of a single team that has them to this extent year in and year out. Time to hire a medicine man? |

It's been going on essentially since the Lakers bought TWC.
Last year we were fortunate to have a healthy season.. but now if you see one of the Laker players fall down they miss a few weeks. |

The Basketball Gods were not happy with us not playing a True PG.

The usual Debbie Downer group in the game thread did several times. One hoped we lose by 30. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

No curses, every team has to deal with injuries, some will be more fortunate the others. Lakers had relatively healthy teams when they were winning three-repeats. Think they'll continually find ways to improve the training staff and equipment. Can't wait till the new training center opens.
With that said, there are some who might bring up the incident in Nov 2010 where a child fell at Staples. Some would say things haven't been the same since the TWC deal. Or the "basketball reasons" fiasco. The only thing that can be said is that all things will come to pass one way or another. It's just a matter of time before Lakers are back to where we want them to be. |

No. This has been a common pattern for years. The FO needs to spend more money on a better training staff and injury prevention program. |

Part of the game, although this would have been a favorable situation for AB. Speaking of anomalies, the Grizzles seem to get d-league talent to step it up whenever a third of their roster goes missing. |

A true PG he wasn't, he was a triangle PG. Kobe was basically the ball handler and at times Odom was. _________________

Derek Fisher was never able to average over 7 assists neither was able to stay in front of the quicker PG or had the length to guard taller guards. Fortunately we had Kobe all those years.
Derek Fisher game was all about intangibles, his leadership, the respect his teammates had for his no nonsense attitude and a few career clutch shots. |
