I'm not optimistic about tonight's outcome, they aren't dealing with the injuries well at the moment. The Lakers need DLO and Young back, they could really use Black too, and they have to reestablish the rotations and communication that went missing the last several games.
I'm hoping for the best..."On paper," Phx is one of the lesser teams that we will have played recently (we've played some tough teams), so hopefully, we get it done.
I don't think there's any "winnable games" until the Lakers' rotation is back. They're underdogs every night with their point guard play and scoring punch out. Not trying to be a hater, but the team is kind of ass right now. _________________ Austin Reaves

Even when healthy we're only ever slightly favorites to win. If we don't bring the energy night in and night out we're gonna drop games even if healthy.
We're like the player who signs in to online Call of duty and sees your team getting destroyed. Uhhh
No we're the COD player who in the middle of a kill streak and their team winning's controller dies and they can't find replacement batteries cause the other ones are recharging.
So they go and take the batteries out of the second controller which are 1/4th charged anyway cause nobody cares about the 2nd controller, and so they play for a little, and think 'crisis averted' but then those batteries die too. Needing to be recharged themselves.
And then they scramble around the house looking in every drawer for batteries but find that somehow all the batteries they've been walking past the past few days are nowhere to be found.
Eventually they find two, don't care if they're charged or not, and toss them into the controller, get a faint light and then run back to the game, only to discover the game is over and their side lost, and during their battery conquest they had been sniped 9 times, and was the killcam at the end.
While in the meantime within the players lounge, they are getting trashed by their friends and foes alike and called garbage. While they sadly and ultimately wind up having to sit and wait for the batteries to fully recharge before they can make an attempt to redeem themselves.
Two struggling teams trying to find themselves meet Friday night at Staples Center.
The Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns both looked like lost causes lately.
The Lakers, who are on a four-game slide, were handed a humiliating 134-95 loss at Houston on Wednesday, the third time they lost by 30 or more points. The Rockets converted 28 Los Angeles turnovers into 42 points and blew the game open by outscoring their counterparts 39-22 in the third quarter.
