We all saw how great Porzingis was in those workouts but everyone was worried about the Euro bust factor. I wanted Myles Turner or Stanley, but I was fine with Russell. It's not that Russell can't be a good player it's just that Porzingis is such a great and rare player. We really missed out on a franchise player in Porzingis.

I thought JC was our franchise player

Like, I think the Lakers did miss out on the 2nd best prospect in the 2015 draft. But the 20/20 hindsight here is really hypocritical when you remember how the 2015 draft actually happened. Criticizing the Lakers for drafting D Russ instead of Porzingis is really something else. I don't think any team, if they had the 2nd pick at the time, would have picked KP over Russell or Okafor.

So they get the third best prospect. At least people aren't polkuting the Russell thread with Booker's inefficient counting stats anymore.

I'm surprised no one trashed him after Norman Powell had a good game against us. #shouldadraftedlocal

It's ok Dave. We have Jordan Clarkson.
dave is a legend on this board man. I fear for his well being though if Clarkson gets traded. Took him like two weeks to get past the shock of JC coming off the bench

Before all this hype on Porgz.

Let's remember that Russell hasn't been healthy this year and still put up 16PPG

Let's wait until our best player is fully accustomed to the game after coming back from a long lay off.

The Lakers are putting up a fight in these losses but every game was lost because the team didn't get it done on the defensive end.
We must improve in that area if we are to become a good team.

Kind of surprised how well Rose looked, even against an injured Russ.

He was so fast, quick and dynamic.

That is 1 positive way to look at it pip2u. we have 16 loses and 10 of em were probably lost by 5-7 points. If we fix our defensive flaws we will become a consistent team.

Defense is the 1 thing that is helding this team back.

We still have time .. that's the good thing.
