To not force Luke to go into some (bleep) small ball lineup with JR as the 5 or something yeah. I'm kinda tired of watching JR's (bleep) defense.

Yeah he's not the answer. Maybe a complimentary piece next to a inside presence

Nope. Outside of injury this team isn't getting a top 3 pick. We'll be right about where Utah was 2 seasons ago. Making a run after all-star break when guys have settled in to consistency and relative health.

I guess I'm glad I had a final tonight...Sucks to see us lose, especially given the lead we built in the first half.

Sacramento is garbage. Cousins is why they have a average record right now. That team is as dysfunctional as any team in the NBA but having the best C in the league helps when you need wins from time to time.

Can't sleep on the Nets either. Lin is back and Lopez is very capable of going off and scoring 30.

I don't disagree they are garbage.

But right now, after 30% of the season, we are worse than garbage record-wise.

Both teams have there flaws but the Kings have a proven superstar.. that's why it must suck for King fans to witness mediocre seasons year after year.

Highly doubt it the team is already giving up. We're only 4 games back of the 2nd spot. I'm ready to tank get lucky and trade the top 3 pick for Cousins. We're not going anywhere in the west with this roster.

What an awful 3rd quarter.

DLO played good, team was actually +5 with Russell on the floor.

Deng is starting to show up, finally.

Randle flat out sucked.

Brandon Ingram if you could only find that shot I know you have.

Sorry, this team will have to disappoint you by hitting their stride after all-star break and making progression as a team that isn't going to the lottery.

But you can go be a 76ers fan if that's what you're after, or a Brooklyn Nets fan if and once the Lakers trade Clarkson there.

I want what's best for the Lakers. Being mediocre which we are right now is the last place you want to be.

JC should be the first to go. We need a real 2 guard in the starting lineup.

Yeah with all that great trade value he's building up with his play these days!

That happens as a team starts to find themselves and find a stride to hit.

Like I said, it's called progression. You want 'instantaneous' consistency and it isn't gonna happen. Getting even younger isn't gonna fix that.

So if you REALLY want what's best for the team, you actually WAIT while watching progression instead of screaming tank at the first sign of trouble like in desperate search of a comfort pillow.

This is what happens when you have a young team that's growing up, stretches of success and stretches of inconsistency.

What you are watching for and hoping for is for them to get their inconsistencies out of the way during the first portion of the season, and hit their stride after all-star break and go on a bit of a run.

Again, like Utah did 2 years ago.

They started the season almost exactly the way we're starting ours as guys starting hitting their strides and inconsistencies with a new coach in Quinn Snyder after their previous coach Tyrone Corbin was given the boot.

The team was inconsistent, would look great one minute and terrible the next. But after all-star break they finally started hitting their stride and finished strong, finishing the season with 38 wins.

Same thing is heading in that direction for us though we'll be closer to 33-34 wins or so. Main thing is to stay healthy from here on out, relatively.

I really understand. But what do you get for him that makes trading him beneficial to the Lakers? Especially right now? You at least have to wait for him to build trade value. And he might ultimately be better served as a throw-in for a larger deal, so you can take advantage of his contract.

JC is clearly a talented player. I just don't feel that the mentality and tendencies that he's adopted are constructive going forward.
