Someone has to get the 50/50 balls, LNJ and TRob are the only ones that have that energy to do it |
My favorite Laker but he's not much help if he's always hurt |

How in the hell do you go from putting up an incredible 73 points at halftime and then laying a big fat egg in the 3rd?
I am trying to figure this team out. They should have won this game.
I am hoping Luke is doing the right thing but he is looking like a novice right now with his lineup decisions.
Advise to Luke: if a lineup isn't fuc*ing working, change it bro. You, and this team, are not good enough to roll like Phil Jackson used to do with having his team's "play through it". |

Tale me about it, brother.
1-10 in their last 11 games, with the only win against Philly, the NBA's very own farm team.
Losing like that makes one weak... or a couple. |

They have now shot over 200 more FT shots than their opponent at home. |

Tough loss. There's no excuse for blowing a 20 point lead. |

You can't magically teach a bunch of non-defensive players what to D unless they can see it for themselves. Get Noel AT ALL COSTS if he's available. Try swinging for Wilson Chandler. Just anyone that can play defense, please, asap. |
The defense was very good in the 4th, they shot something like 20% |
Lol I'm sorry is this a joke? Hornets were shooting bricks (not necessarily good defense by Lakers) then getting their own offensive rebounds for buckets. They were running their sets and there was nothing our guys could do about it. Plus the last 2 minutes were cringe worthy and we gave them everything they wanted on both ends of the floor.
Our defense is hot garbage, and the reason why we have lost 10 of the last 11. |

We started sucking in the third before 'The Glue Guy' got hurt. We got back into the game on the back of a run lead by Randle, including his impressive 5 blocks. |
You're right, Randle our "turnover" guy started us off on that sad losing path. _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood. |

Just goes to show how crappy our schedule is. LAs played 31 games so far.. the most of any team as of right now. |

I didn't see the game...what happened to Nance?
Do any of you think, though we are in no means a contender, that the FO should look at making a trade? Lakers just look good in stretches and horrible at other times.
Where in the hell is the defense? |

we have no shot creators. Its annoying we need a bucket everyone just hangs around the arc and jacks up 3s |

0 defensive effort. Luke refuses to use centers even tho getting crushed on the glass and no one drives everyone just jacks up 3s |

Not even the issue. We got 113 points while shooting 48.9% from the field. What we needed was halfway decent defensive players, which we are evidently starving for. |

Sorry folks, but I am not a Randle fan or even DLO. Think the Lakers could have done better with both picks. |

Randle definitely got into the paint almost at will tonight but he missed too many gimmes. Russell also did a good job at getting looks at the rims and post-ups. I think in the future this will be the future of our team |

Oh, so you didn't see the game but just needed to chime in with that.
Carry on.

Nick Stauskas and Jahlil Okafor are tearing it up for the Sixers. |

I don't understand how some posters can hate on DeMarcus Cousins and others for putting up "empty stats" on bad teams, while our own guys can't do that on a team that is looking like it might make the lotto for the 3rd time in a row. I think all our young guys have potential for sure, but going after talent over youth is how all of the recent contenders have been able to build attractive teams for free agents. Seems like we're stuck in a loop. God we suck. |
