Sorry, I gues people don't like my Randle and DLO comments. They frustrate me. That's just me, and my opinion. No need to call me out. Just my thoughts. I like Ingram though...
Lakers blew this game both in the 3rd when they took their foot off the gas after scoring twice.
And then again in the 4th when a timeout wasn't called after we made defensive stops on one end but couldn't increase the 6 points cause we were rushing the offense.
Sorry folks, but I am not a Randle fan or even DLO. Think the Lakers could have done better with both picks.
I don't understand how some posters can hate on DeMarcus Cousins and others for putting up "empty stats" on bad teams, while our own guys can't do that on a team that is looking like it might make the lotto for the 3rd time in a row. I think all our young guys have potential for sure, but going after talent over youth is how all of the recent contenders have been able to build attractive teams for free agents. Seems like we're stuck in a loop. God we suck.
I have come to my own personal conclusion that everyone is tradable except for BI, and if we can would love to keep nance. God, I hope mitch is trying to make deals. _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood.

I hate to pull a vlf, but they're not going to trade Russell or Randle anytime soon.
Very disappointing game after giving Cleveland a good run the last game, and especially after the first half. I knew it wouldn't be sustainable to hit threes at the insane rate we were, but to get pounded on the offensive glass? Ugh.

Yeah we win this game if the boards were even, or we win the battle of the boards.

Low key tanking...
If that is what we are doing then we are doing it poorly.
the real signal will be "if" Luke announces that he is shutting down DLo for a while to get the knee healthy....that will likely be code for "we are seeking a bottom 5 record".
I didn't watch the full game. Why Mazgov only played 11 minutes? Was he playing very badly?
refs took him out as usual with random, arbitrary, phantom calls whilst letting his man pull, push, and hit on the other end.

Do any of you think, though we are in no means a contender, that the FO should look at making a trade? Lakers just look good in stretches and horrible at other times.
Where in the hell is the defense?
0 defensive effort. Luke refuses to use centers even tho getting crushed on the glass and no one drives everyone just jacks up 3s
Have you seen Mozgov's defensive numbers?
I'm critical of Luke tonight about his rotations down the stretch, but the Lakers don't have a single center who can actually guard. Hate to say it, but... yeah. _________________ Austin Reaves

Oh, so you didn't see the game but just needed to chime in with that.
Carry on.

Same sentiments here about BI and Nance. I may add Zubs in there too as I am enamored with his skill set and how it will mature in the long term.

Nick Stauskas and Jahlil Okafor are tearing it up for the Sixers.
Porzingis and Lavine?
Porzingis I'll give you because he's a unicorn, but there's compelling argument for Russell keeping it closer than you think in the DLo thread.
Lavine's shooting outbursts are great, and he has a very high ceiling, but he's one of the worst big minute guard defenders in the NBA and he already has a full second season under his belt after being horrible as a rook and a bit less horrible as a sophomore. Seriously, Randle's first 30 games of his second year have been better than Lavine's, and both guys came in as raw, low IQ prospects. Julius deserves his full second season before we start fully blowing Lavine, who is not nearly as good as his highlights would lead casual observers to believe.
