Supposedly Orlando has let it be known they are listening to offers for Herzonja. I would not mind Lakers inquiring about him and Noel....see if there is any interest from either in Lou and some 2nd round picks

Every fourth quarter is Lou/Swaggy hero ball time. Does Luke even call plays or does he bust out the Byron playbook?

Frustrating loss..they just cant sustain the consistent effort the whole game.
Plus the absence of Randle and Nance..to much to overcome

I hate to complain 30 games in but these robo subs really take the wind out of our sails way too often. I mean come on...Metta?

That's a bad team.

They're playing like a 29-30 win team. Which is where I thought they'd be.

A 29-30 win team usually doesn't have a 1-11 stretch. This team is just getting in losing mode.

And yet they're on pace to win 29-30 games.

You aren't kidding my friend! The Chargers loss against the Saints this year was beyond belief.

its official, i am definitely now on TEAM TANK!
Trade swag and lou who have great value this year, hell, listen to all trades for ALL players except for nance who at least PLAYS HARD every game.
I've had it, let the young kids lose every game and wallow in the losing like the little children they are, and maybe JUST maybe, one or two of them get sick of losing and FIGHT BACK!!!!

I don't mind him getting a lot of playing time. I mind that he gets more than DLO and Randle.

That's Luke desperation mode. He probably wanted more physicality and just pointed to the first guy that he saw that's big, not realizing it was MWP.

They had a 19 point lead in both right?

I don't think that means Lakers is a bad team. It just reflects we don't have a reliable go to guy on this team and many of the players are too young to make right plays. To me, a bad team would not be able to have a 19 points lead in the first play.

It's an unsustainable setup. It worked for like two weeks. They just gun and try to ride their outside shooting while playing a switching defense on the other end that leads to constant mismatches.

I hate that defensive strategy. It works for some but not all lineup

Part of why we went on our run was that he was making great defensive plays, and playing good D, in general.

He just looks clueless out there on offense, like he's trying to stay out of the way of the others. That 8 second violation is inexcusable in a tight game. The team just finds new ways to turn it over.

as much as we all suck from GM down to team doctor, I kinda had a feeling the league wouldn't let miami lose on "shaq retirement night"

That stretch when Russell was out really changed the momentum of this team.

I'm seeing very little difference in the Lakers play between Byron and Luke. I think it has more to do with personnel.

If Lou, Nick, and Clarkson are on the floor - there will be alot of ISO.
If D-Lo, Randle, and Nance are on the court - there will be ball movement.

But, overall, don't see much difference. It's a players league. Coaches have minimal value IMO.

Having a good coach is like a +α; effective when you have a good team and make up the margins, but useless if the roster is poor.

Can Ingram completely rebuild his shot in the off season? He pulls it so far back behind his head it looks weird.

Same problem as the Charlotte game.

Got pressured and instantly went back to iso ball, 'one pass one shot' or 'Lou or Swaggy save us!' offense that doesn't work.

We lost this game for the same reasons. Ball movement disappeared the moment it got rough, and got worse when Russell was on the bench.

I think it actually reflects on how BAD we are on defense. Teams start figuring out that they can get to the paint against us pretty easily, and that they can also get wide open looks from the perimeter anytime they want. We have to score so much to build up leads, and any blips in our offense and teams come right back against us. We have to pray teams go cold against us or Nick/Lou/Dlo/JC catch fire and stay on fire throughout.

We should cut Metta immediately tokeep Luke from being tempted to try him out on the floor again.

I can't believe we blew basically a 20 point lead again. This time against a team who usually can't score. An 18 point lead should be the equivalent of a 30 point lead against anyone else.
