I wonder what Luke's mental state is when he goes from coaching a Warrior team that was like 44-4 under him, to coaching this Laker team. I have to think he did very little with the Warriors other than sub out players. But this Laker team he has to be "coaching" them harder.

Young players can be ruined by losing. but i think the same can probably be said for young coaches.

He's getting the team to play hard most of the time.

We've lost 12 of 13, many to the worst teams in the NBA. Did you think we were going to lose all 13 but the hard play allowed us to win one?

And out of those 13 games I wouldn't even need to look at the fact that we were missing key players in most of those games, no team in the NBA can win consistently without a full roster on display.

So were many of the teams we faced. You're offering up an excuse, not a reason.

That's not a excuse, it's hard to build cohesiveness with a young team having no chemistry cause players aren't building bond on the basketball floor.. we need guys to play and built a identity with injuries that's not possible.

You'll never be able to convince me, that there is a good reason to lose 12 of 13 games. As I said before, even Byron the tank commander couldnt do that.

And I'm willing to say that we will play a lot better once the team gets there mojo back.

Every team plays better when they get their mojo back. Even the bad ones.

Yes, but there is still a long season to be played. Championships aren't won in December..

Championships? Regular season games aren't won in December by this team.

This team is building something nothing is gonna materialize had we won against a average Orlando.

C'mon you had to see this coming? A young team starts hot but that is because they are different than they were last year so teams haven't figured them out yet. Then add in injuries, an awful schedule mixed with youth and now they are spiraling. The team is in rebuild mode and are clearly at least another year away. Ingram is currently giving very little on the offensive end. DLO makes a turnover for every great pass. Clarkson is hit or miss. Randle is good Randle/bad Randle. All very young guys. You know its bad when Nick Young is listed as your best defender.

Experience and a few key veterans is what is necessary and a lot of patience. Too bad the first round pick this year is probably history. I can't believe they will be lucky again. I think the players selected have been good. You can see Ingram is going to be a very special player. DLO will be a very good player. They need a defensive guard and defensive wing and this thing will get a whole lot better.

These loses are gonna make us stronger in the long run was my point. We just need to let it all come together.

I did see a regression coming. I did not see 12 losses in 13 games coming. We might win 1 game the entire month of December. We won our 10th game in Nov and might not win our 12th until January.

There are "good" losses and bad losses. The last 10 games or so are of the bad variety. Its what bad teams do.

So everyone can then complain about the next 19 year old and pray for another tank in 2019.

The 2012-2013 Lakers team wasn't a bad team and they had a bad stretch early on.

Well this explains why Philly is so strong. So much adversity over the years.

The number 19 appears to be our unlucky number.
We blow two 19 point leads and lose two games.
Tonight we lose to OM by 19. sheesh....

Philly is in a different situation can't compare both.

And Jack Tingle was #19 in 1949, which looks like 1919 when you write it really fast.

People say this, but if you look at our past three years, they really aren't in a different situation than us. We've both been tanking for youth and draft picks (albeit us doing so by accident and them deliberately), and neither squad can lure decent free agents. Sadly, our records aren't that different this season either, though I'm hopeful that will change.

Philly is in a full rebuild mode, they have 3-4 big man they are trying to see if they fit, Lakers on another hand are struggling cause of D and making mistakes.

Of course both are trying to develop youth, both coaches make there team play hard most of the time, like I said things will get better even if we don't make the playoffs we will finish the season in a solid fashion and have a better chance to Improve again next summer when we hopefully add a few talented players.

Lakers apparently, aren't in full rebuild mode and don't have 3-4 big men they are trying to see if they fit.

Huh.
