Hopefully neither of these teams comeback next year for the title game. |

Alabama will probably be back though. Their QB is really good. |

Assuming the local rumors of Irsay wanting Saban as coach of the Colts don't actually happen yeah I think they will be back. Clemson not sure if Watson goes to the NFL probably not(then again the Browns have the # 1 pick so he might as well stay) |

They would need to have a team that can play defense. I remember those Oregon teams who lost not once but twice in the national championship games because they couldn't stop the opposing team from scoring. |

IIRC, he's not projected to be one of the top picks. Maybe tonight changed things. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid! |

I know it's a QB poor draft class, historically poor as far as I know. I'd imagine he'd be the top QB selected. But as previously said, the Brown are #1 . |

Ballsy for sure, but under the circumstances I totally get it. OT would have been somewhat of a crapshoot given the way that game was going. They had a chance to put that game away immediately.
Not normally a decision I would advocate, but in the case it was the way to go. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

UCLA received a verbal commitment from five-star 2017 CB Darnay Holmes.
One of the biggest commitments at the Army All-American Bowl, Holmes opted for the Bruins' hat over Ohio State, USC and Nebraska. The Calabasas, California, native seemed to be leaning toward the Buckeyes, but ultimately opted to stay in-state. All recruiting outlets of note view him as a high-upside prospect, with nobody higher on the 5-foot-11, 185-pounder than Scout.com, which slots him in at No. 9. Scout analyst Greg Biggins refers to Holmes as an "electric two-way performer," one who offers "explosive speed, very quick feet" and an affinity for playing in press coverage. He will likely play on the defensive side of the ball with the Bruins.

was bummed we missed out on him. Nebraska has loaded up with some nice Calibraska talent. Getting Gebbia and Key Jr on campus already is a nice plus. Plus, now back in the mix for Tyjon Lindsey and hopefully getting Bookie next year. Nebraska may be in the mix to only lose by 15 or so to Ohio State the next few years. |

Finally, its back! Watched a lot of college football this weekend.....cannot really say I saw anyone that led me to believe there is an overwhelmingly dominant team at this early point in the season. |

Agreed. I also came to the conclusion that there are a lot of overhyped QBs this year. |

Bruins looking pathetic. No running game, no passing game and no defense. It's going to be another long year. _________________ "a new level of asinine intellectual dishonesty that has rarely been witnessed here."

The rout is on. 31-3 with 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Texas Tech just dominating and UCLA can't get anything going on offense. |
