Kobe was a good passer but that stat is really a reflection of his longevity. He's only #137 in assists per game. |
And there really is nothing wrong with that? How many of those 136 players have 5 titles? Maybe 3 or 4 Idk? |
Does having 5 titles also make Kobe a better defender than Rudy Gobert? A better rebounder than Andre Drummond? |

I said the average team probably has 0.8 more assists per game today. Don't see how you translate that into Kobe increasing his personal career average by 1.0 assists per game. If you go by Kobe's percentage of team assists, his share of the increase is probably closer to 0.2, raising his career average from 4.7 to 4.9.
But who knows? It's all just woulda coulda shoulda guesses. |
